I thought you cared
I thought you wanted me to explain

But I am no longer worth the same
Your actions have spoken
Priorities have changed
Not a **** question
You laughed in my face
Ignored the whole issue
You sent meaningless phrases
And I'm left thinking
Was this all one sided?

a shiver moves,
throughout my body.

I hear,
your coaxing words,
in my ear.
I see,
your cold lifeless eyes,
in the dark.
I feel,
your steady bony hands,
grappling at my body.

First ''love''

I loved him with what was left of my heart.
I thought he cared about me, but he just used me.
I waited for him. I gave him so many chances because I believed he would change but after a year of waiting my heart knew that he left me and went away. The little left of my heart started to crush like the other pieces. But I just had a piece left and I guarded my heart for so long that my heart forgot what it was like to breathe.

Lies and Thighs

She stares in my nervous eyes
Her steady hand touches mine.
Im breathing her in, the air's getting thin.
Im open wide.

She presses her lips to mine,
My hands climbing up her thighs.
And all I could see was pure ecstacy
Tonight.
Oh, my head wont stop spinning,
No, my heart won’t stay still.
Oh, nothing can be better...no,
She has only begun.

She's laying inside my arms
While she seduces me with charm.
My emotions sway, I beg her to stay
Tonight.
Recover my beating heart
So naive from the start.
I know that she'll leave once she's done with me

big nothing

i try to suppress the pain
but emotion isn't docile
i form words to explain
but it's all juvenile
& i want to be heard
but language is so futile
though i can think as an adult,
i speak like a ******* child

the ringing in my ears
won't seem to cease
my body burns in hell
while everyone else
gets to roam free
no hope for the future
hope is naive

i'm just longing
to feel nothing,
because nothing
creates peace.

naive

i blindly believe in a love i have never known.
i do not know what it's like to fall asleep in someone's arms, to the beat of their heart.
I could not tell you how it feels when you hear their voice and suddenly your heart is in your ears.
I have never had someone for support, a structure so strong that their walls would never falter.
yet i find myself giving my heart openly to those who ask
and maybe it is because i am naive and maybe its because i am stupid
but still i give.

A Poem for a Tree

Well, there had been a tree
All soft gray trunk,
Crawling with snails after the rain,
And carved with symbols of naïve love.
You couldn’t climb the branches to the sky,
But they could cradle you as you watched the world go by.

Sadly when I came back to live with my parents after my break up the tree was gone. I think that it had been hit by lightning and they had to remove it. I had been looking forward to seeing the names that had been carved into it again.
