im free
im free from your chains and demands

but why do i feel hallow
what did you do to me?

everyone is a blur
and my mind works mechanically like clockwork

i end up reading our messages
i end up conjuring your scent

my mind draws places we've been on sketchpads
and my eyes look for the shade of your eyes

i wake up to the illusion of your arms around mine
and my lips tickle from lips that aren't there anymore

my mind is racing because there's no one to talk to
there's no one as interesting as you

what have you done to me?
why do i want to be your victim again?

Your eyes were my own private river, bathing in the ring of blue around your iris. Enamored with the greenery protected by your eyelashes.
November to February not long enough to drown beneath them

I am plagued by the ghost of your reassuring caress
Your breath during nighttime a missing comfort
For alone I am surrounded by darkness.
Moments spent cradling cobwebs of each-others limbs
Intricate designs casting from our bodies as we felt like one in the same.
Our allure as a couple outshone the mundanes of just a ****** attraction
My soul felt yours

                                              but I am alone,

with the overbearing grief of love lost.

Maybe somewhere out there in an alternate universe you fell in love with me
Perhaps in this other universe I was the one, and the only one, not the other one
Alternatively, in this made up universe I was not a naive girl who wanted to believe you could give a **** about me

I wish I could step into this alternate reality and feel what it would be like to be loved by you
To be held by you
To be kissed by you
Simply to be noticed by you

I would give anything to waltz into the room and your eyes be drawn to me first
To be the first name you want to call when you have something important to say
To be the girl who holds up the posters rooting for you in any situation

Maybe one day I won't be the other girl.

Do you realise actually
it’s the little details of you that ignite my weary soul?
How shy you look
when I told you that your face is a whole art
Or the way you nervously talk
when your eyes are locked into mine
Or when you refuse to leave first
though we already spent 25 hours that day
Or how your ‘I’m always here for you’
becomes an absolute assurance
Or the way you update about you to me,
even provide pictures
Or when you lovely mention my name
that I end up fangirling over your voice a second after
Or how your daily compliment
puts a period to my insecurities
Or your journey to complete the broken me in dark
even if your eyes are closed.
These seem insignificant to some
but your aura runs through my vein
That I thought about stitching you into my skin for real
So that I’ll experience these little details eternally.

Community Poem

We are equal, but with diverse ways and meaning of life,
We are equal, but end with same manner in this life,
At least, we all shall wind up, not knowing the end,
At least our fate make us equal to each other, in this life,

We stumble upon the unknown end,
As if it’s a new place or planet,
That we would be going to discover,
As we go, we can’t come back,

Our community is large,
But with less friends,
As we consider others as strangers,
Even though they are our same kind,

They came to this world just like us,
And will come to an end just like us,
Our flowers grow, and rot till time,
Just as us, everything carry same fate,

In our world, everyone is equal,
But we are confined to communities,
Communities are built on a new dream,
That will come to others hands as well.

Tell me we'll be
sitting on the sand, again.

Tell me we'll see
thousands of stars, again.

Tell me we'll look
at the shape of the clouds, again.

Tell me we'll meet -
Meet one more time,
Again.
