I walked entwined in nature
as if a was sewing around trees
My fingers they thread as I
Hold
Grasp
Touch
The cold bark upon each tree,
Aged, majestic they reach tall
As if trying to reach that which is
"Unattainable"
But still every  moment reaching up,
I see there yield of green now
Fallen from branches up high,
Colours like a carpet, natures painted scenery
I clasp my fingers gently
Brown,
Red,
Yellow,
Different shapes are seen
Natures way of being part of
"Individuality"
A leaf like
A snow flake,
May look the same, but its the
Smaller changes you don't see,
Wild flowers grow
Weeds some are called but I see there
Beauty, petals grace the air
As autumn winds blow through,
I leave nature behind
Leaves and flowers I take with me
Leafs for a daughters scrap book.
Flowers for my wife to see,
A memory of my walk, with nature trees & me..
An autumn write
Can you ever stop
doing what
you do?

Making me smile-
replacing my
blue.

Making the stars swirl-
even if they don't
want to.

Making my heart
scream the name that
belongs to you.

Loving you was the
hardest choice to
make.

Even though I knew
my heart was to
break.

And even after all those times
convincing myself that
my love you wouldn't take,

*I can never stop.

Wind bends a weak branch.
Fresh leaves sing in harmony.
A lizard of the same color
slowly stretches his way from leaf to spine.
He stops to investigate a string
of silk from a spider's web
and I wonder how that tastes.
Lit up like a jack-o-lantern,
his glowing body
reveals organs and vessels
much like my own.
He makes his 30 foot ascent
above hot cement
just to sunbathe on a leaf.
What a life that is.

Ever so changing like a rhyme
              Color
                    Never
                           Bound

Falling down one at a time
              Going
                    Sinking
                           Ground

Shivering alone, not really seen
              Cold
                    Lonely
                           Freezing

Waiting for what cannot be foreseen
              Counting
                    Faith
                           Believing

Distant thunder calls for rain
              Dripping
                    Dropping
                           Crying

Inside feeling nothing but pain
              Never
                    Stop
                           Trying

As the seasons change, so does the weather
               Spring
                     Summer
                            Fall

Love keeps all things together
               Emotions
                     Conquer
                             *All

Like the flow that is time
I'm drifting like a leaf floating on the cool waters
Torn from the branches where I originated
Other leaves floating to their destination

The chlorophyll breaking down the colors of green pigments
Slowly wilting away internally
The surface turning brittle and shatter at one's grasp
Lying there until the start of rebirth

Once again, the cradles reveal a new identity
The branches supporting the developing life
Transporting basic necessities of life
Until the cycle begin once again and the leaf starts to drift away

The Oak tree in the garden fasts
her luscious bodice skinned
Though dream we did that autumn last,
none could conquer cold coarse wind

Ethereal laces, red and gold
once cloaked her graceful form
As sun-warmed skin, turned white with cold
flesh falls like ladies’ laces torn

Light which drenched her leaves ’til soaked
has vanished long with autumn’s coat
Instead, bare arms, broken and *****
Fight November’s bitter, bleak demote

And then one day I check upon her
Has winter’s brutal beating claimed
vict’ry by that cruel crisp monster
gainst my garden’s fairest dame?

Alas, my prize has not been slain
her beauty ne’er been thieved
For in the night the winter came,
but dressed her as a queen!

Under folds of whitest silk she stands
draped in drops of diamond light
Defeated crude and forceful hands
bow down to such exquisite might

So once again she rises,
sleek and silver stands she now
Transformed by winter’s laces whitest
she shall remain my garden crown

Don't go away from me
my love
because my love is only for you
don't go away from me
my love
Cause I love you so much
Cause I want all is you only
Don't go Away
Don't thinking about leaving from me
Cause i can't not live
without you....
my love
love, alone, leaving, leaf

Autumn.
The mood is changing,
the temperature is slowly cooling,
yet the fiery leaves bring warmth.
Strange how the dying leaves
bring beauty to our surroundings.
Early in the morning,
the air is crisp and comforting.
The smell of hot apple cider
drifts throughout the house.
Looking out the big window,
the wind is dancing
with the delicate tree branches.
The leaves are slowly letting go
of what they once called home.
The foggy air
looked calming,
while drops of rain
fell from the sky.
**Autumn. A time of year that makes you realize that change isn't so bad after all.**

The Branch Bore A Bud,
It Was A Cocoon Of Life,
Soon It Would Errupt

The Young Leaf Emerged,
In Springtime's Renewed Sunlight,
Taking It's First Breath

The Leaf Grew Each Day,
Side By Side With Other Leaves,
They Would Speak Softly

Rain Would Come And Go,
And The Leaves Would Ask For Sun,
They Would Beg The Sky

The Days Grew Colder,
And Nighttime Consumed The Dawn,
The Sun Gave No Warmth

The Leaves Were Different,
They Were Red, Yellow, And Orange,
Ripened From The Cold

Slowly They Let Go,
One By One They Met The Earth,
Concealing Her Skin

The Leaf Recoils,
It's Flushed Cheeks Now Colorless,
The Branches Are Bare
Thought I'd Try My Luck At A Leaf Poem Because I've Been Seeing So Many That Are Unquestionably Marvelous! How Interesting That The Life Of A Leaf Is So Similar To Our Own.
