The old Vermont sun shone low in the western sky, wringing itself dry of the last drops of heat for the year, my back reaching for all the warmth it can catch. I tip my head up from its downward shell I created with the brim of my red white and blue hat in an effort to escape my face from the wind. My eyes focus towards the wind whipped trees up ahead; their branches look exhausted as they cling onto the last of the elder leaves. As I widen my vision to a towering landscape, I fail to hold back my surprise at the sight of snow-capped mountains.

Like an evil kingdom atop a large hill, the upcoming winter lurks in the dull grey fog; striking fear in the world beneath it. The snow is the ominous army marching away from the empire; slowly yet surely. Without warning, a great gust catches the brim of my hat, throwing it backwards into oblivion. Winter is nearing me. Cold dark days lie ahead once again.
Hint hint this is about the election ;)

to know me is to know tears
to know Him is to know the same
but He promises to wipe them all away,
and to make all things new
with no sorrow added...
real true hope and love
anticipating the kingdom of God
coming
to this earth.

The King nor the Queen
wanted the crown.
Too heavy to bear,
it dragged them both down.

The King wanted to drink
and party with his men.
The Queen couldn't manage
and wanted a friend.

The oldest princess
wanted love and money.
To sell the crown
and find a honey.

The youngest princess
was eratic and cold.
She hated the kingdom
but loved the control.

They bickered and squabbled
so no one did see.
The middle princess
picked it up so gingerly.

She placed it on
Her Royal, fair head.
She managed to stand
with courage and said...

'I will wear the crown
that you've all cast.
To protect our kingdom
and serve as asked.'

They all stopped talking
and quick as a gun,
turned their back on her
and continued their fun.

The King kept on drinking.
The Queen hid away.
The oldest spent her inheritance.
The youngest plotted and played.

All the while she fought there.
Defending the walls.
Fighting for their safety,
Pledging allegiance to them all.

The youngest became jealous
Of this brave new Queen.
She unleashed her rage
And beat her senselessly.

No one did anything.
The Queen looked away.
Nothing in it for the eldest.
The King stood & swayed.

Yet here she was alone,
Crying in the crown.
Unprotected and alone.
Slowly sinking down.

The eldest took her energy.
The Queen gave no hope.
The King let her down.
The youngest gave her a rope.

So she hung herself and died,
As they continued on.
Her absence went unnoticed
As their kingdom lived on.

There was once a place called the UK
That voted to leave and not stay
The government lied
One great nation died
They'd thrown their whole future away

First we look at the campaign
Terrible both leave and remain
Great lies on both sides
The country divides
My goodness are we going insane?

So let us ask the population
Oh we all hate immigration
The economy's bad
We're feeling quite sad
So we'll rip a great whole in this nation

How can we make a decision
When there's clearly a deep incision
Why change all our ways
When after a couple of days
There's such a great whopping division?

We can all vote, young and old
A value we should all uphold
But it's not democratic
When the campaign's erratic
And lies are all that we're told

One thing that I find quite sinister
This new unelected Prime Minister
Equality's great
And I don't want to hate
But why is she the one to administer?

I must make it clear what I mean
Don't think what I'm saying's obscene
But you cry for democracy
Oh the hypocrisy!
Clearly you're not all that keen

And maybe we'll all be alright
It won't all change overnight
But I'm European
And if you're disagreein'
Then I swear I won't give up the fight
Limericks are almost inherently funny. There's something about the rhythm that makes them feel jolly. With that in mind, I decided to write an extended limerick about a topic which, for me, is not funny.

She's deluded to see what's within.
The lies she mirrored to what she believed.
Truth conceit in ways to bleed,
The fire that ignites the dark that breathes.
Moulded for greatness, to honour the heir to the throne.
But the kingdom has been long gone and doomed.
She hummed the lullaby that father said will never die,
"As long you keep humming in the darkest of nights,
Hope will light and brazen through"
Her eyes mimics emerald stones that bejewelled men that gazed.
They faze only to feast their heart's content
"Greed and power will only consume deranged men"
Her amity will shine through.
Refracting rays of hope to those in need
Rooted to her veins, her mettle heart
Will protect her through any storm.
The evil that lurks from within will perish.
**Once again,
She will triumph through
The kingdom will once again rise to greatness
And relinquish every darkness that resides
Its been a long a time:) HI guys:)

Come, we have a guest room
where you can recline with your servant king.
He will bathe your sore, dusty feet;
and you can rest.

Come, commune; join his other friends
and together break bread,
give thanks, sing hymns
and toast the coming Kingdom.

Come to the table with honest hearts.
Come, and in his presence find mercy,
find forgiveness and new purpose.

Come, celebrate the covenant
that confers on us a Kingdom,
bought by the blood
of the one who came to serve.

Do this in remembrance.
Do this with eagerness.
And when you pray say,
'Thy Kingdom Come'.

I believe in one church.
I believe in an inter-racial and unbiased church of many nations.
I believe in one church of many traditions.
I believe in one church not hemmed in by history or by man-made borders.

I believe in a God for whom his pallet of skin colours reflects his love of diversity.
I believe in God-given racial difference.
I believe in one creator God who made all humankind equal.
I believe in Christ’s one church that reflects our maker's love of difference.

I do not believe in uniformity.

I believe in the Christ’s common language of love for one another, for neighbours and for enemies that transcends local dialects.
I believe in one sundry collection of priests who are called by Christ to serve one God together, saved by His one sacrifice once and for all time.
I believe in the promise of one resurrected church drawn from all nations, from every generation to meet her bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
I believe in one eternal wedding feast at a table prepared by God which features everything from the finest vegetable samosas to the richest steam puddings.
I believe in one extravagant Father who has built one massive mansion with many rooms so all his people can come and dwell together.

I believe in God's Kingdom come.

And I, I dream of a magical place
Where I might have a smile on my face
A mother and father who love me
Living together under the eldest tree

It is a beautiful land
There are always adventures at hand
Ones where the good prevails
But darkness endures, as the tales

I wouldn't have to live in a castle
We needn't any vassal
Having each other was always enough
Even when things got tough

My friends would fight by my side
And we may never die
We had each other
We loved one another

My whole family, blood or not
Could always save each other if we sought with purity
Because love is the most powerful thing
So we all end up living as the king

Because our love is truelove
And the trees sing out above
The water flows with the music
Wind singing loud as the humans

The forest, the kingdom, the people
And even those who were thought to be evil
Their homes would be filled with love and laughter
And we would all live happily ever after
I woke up everymorning seeing bees,
Butterflies and birds like if it is other magical kingdom or harmony kingdom inside the universe however princes
and princesses are to be crown as King
and Queen of the magical and harmony kingdom.

Wondering what will happen to the
other kingdom?
Will it be destroyed?
How can the king and the queen get its
army to stop what is happening?

Life is like the thousand stars in the sky saying that a thousand things will
happen in Life but don't worry there is
always an attitude inside you that we are keeping from getting from bottom to the top to reach what you earn today.

Life is everything that you see in life
like terrible things that will happen but
kick it from the top to the bottom.
Life is an today, tomorrow wherever u go, achieve an today life and tomorrow life.
