I let my emotions plague my soul.
I tend to use a tattered heart and tainted words,
watch it convert into poetry.

Because poetry is not just words of the mind, but a message of being.
A formation of subconscious memories from one human being to another.

Poetry allows us to grow, to prosper.
Sometimes, all you need to hear is a line that makes your heart stop. A reality check that stirs in motivation.
However, a phrase could stop the heart, let walls break, the earth shake, and tear us into two.

Poetry is a tool, to be used for better- or for worse- in order to ignite as all one.

**Poetry is unity.
All I ask is that you keep in mind of who you are writing to.  Remember your audience, be cautious, but be bold. Influence those around you, but be weary of who you are intimating. Do your best to build others, not shake them.
Thank you.

Let's think about it
Discuss it out
In a team of more than two
Always it has remained important to take views of all.

Let each and everyone get a moment or two
Once thought and decided upon something
Then it’s time to take a proper line of action.

Between probablity and priority
Between the two of them
Priority will get the upper hand
Priority will get an advantage

Hence always decide upon something definite
In one way or other,
Some sort of solution to the existing problem will definitely come out
While working as a team it has always remained important to put the right efforts in the right direction.

They say that love,
Is a basic necessity of life.
The same as we need water to ingest
And a constant breath in our lungs.
As the lover I am, I agree.
I agreed when I was young,
I concur now
And I will forever feel this is true,
But love is more than what people think.

Love can be holding hands in silence
On a long drive home,
Love can be looking into their eyes
And feeling the world fade away,
Love can be breaking away from a kiss
Because you can't help but smile,
Love can be seeing a person
Doing nothing special, like watching tv
And suddenly falling in love
All over again.

When people think "love", they think these things,
But it's still much more than that.

Love can be the happiness you feel
While dancing in the rain.
Love can be holding your child for the first time.
Love can be a tight hug when your friend is crying.
Love can be a homemade meal for all your family.
Love can be giving them a blanket,
After they unintentionally fell asleep on the couch.
Love can be staring in awe at all the beautiful stars in the sky.
Love can be buying a meal for a stranger.
Love can be playing with your dog.
Love can be sitting by a window with tea and a book.
Love can be dancing to your favorite songs.
Love can be looking in the mirror
And knowing that you are beautiful inside and out,
Flaws and all.

Love is so much more,
Than a man and a woman.
Love is parent and child
Woman and woman
Man and man
Friend and friend
Sister and brother
Human and human
Human and self
Human and animal
Human and nature
Human and life

It is the spirit of the universe
And that's what makes love so important.
I believe in this beautiful thing called love
Because my soul was made for loving.
*And so is yours.
I believe if everyone learned to love, we could all live in harmony.

I don't think deep thoughts every day.
I think of them when I'm alone in a car, with my headphones on,
And when I'm on a bus, when I don't have a friend to pass the time.

The buildings rush by me, and I concentrate on their cracks and blemishes
Only for those few seconds.

But in those few seconds:
I think about how that particular crack came to be,
Why that particular color was chosen,
Why they weren't able to afford a better house,
My favorite memories,
My best friends,
My favorite songs,
How poor our society is,
How I want to help,
How I know that whatever I do,
Things will always revert to what they were.

You want me to cut straight to the deep stuff,
To have intelligent conversation,
To ask me my opinion on everything.
You can ask me all you want,
But I already would have forgotten the answers.
I don't forget all things; just the important stuff.

You are my light
And I can't live without you
Please don't leave me in the dark

In this desolate place of lovers lost
I can be the one who "isn't in need,"
When there is a "way to uncover"
The ones always on the silver screen.

I can be...
A person who you can trust.
I can be...
A beautiful "devil of lies,"
I can be...
A loner who only fantasized
I can be...
A musician who makes music fly
I can be...
A playful lover with so much life.

But here they found them,
These marriages of "perfect love,"
We live in your hopeful world
We eat your "good cooking"
We sit in your expensive shade
We hear your "creative" music
We  repent for our "faults so grave"

I can be whatever I will,
But I will never be the one
Who ever had a dream that
Can ever be fulfilled...
The other afternoon I got a message
From a friend about my latest musing
He said he didn't understand the poem
And in fact, it was confusing
He told me how he'd read some others
And they made no sense at all
And he said, he'd fix my problem
And he gave me a number to call
As one who likes a challenge
And not one to turn away
I phoned the gifted number
That's why I'm here today

"Welcome to the Group Encounter
It's group therapy for beginners
Your problems we will fix
And will help make you all winners"
At least that's what the sign said
I felt like I was being led to slaughter
But, I told my friend that I would go
And if I say yes....I gotta!!
The room was bright and cheerful
No silly signs upon the walls
I saw nothing else of much importance
There were no chairs, just *****
Eight people came, we took attendance
Which I found funny, since no one knew
Our real names, or our problems
I stood behind a ball of blue
The leader was a man...a doctor
He said it was good to see us all
I smiled back, and gave a greeting
I remembered the silly sign out in the hall
He informed the group that at this meeting
We didn't have to say a word
I thought that wouldn't help me with my problem
But I might learn from what I heard
"My name is Bill, and I'm an addict
came a voice so soft and meek
I like ******* and thighs and *******"
"Bill, you say that every week"
For those of you new to our meeting
Bills a butcher, not a freak
He always says this as his welcome
I made a note...Bill's help..don't seek!!
"I am Julie, I'm an addict
I drink all day and through the night"
Now, we're talking..I was thinking
Here is someone who's not right
"Hello Julie"....we all answered
I was anxious for her tales of *****
But, what a downer was old Julie
She just drank milk, her tale's a ruse
Julie really didn't drink much
She just needed to get out
Her mother thought she was a loner
She's sit around the house and pout
Bill the butcher and our lactaid milkmaid
really made me wish I'd not
phoned the number from my buddy
Some magic beans...that's what I'd bought
I stood and looked upon the faces
I'll make up something for their ears
I stood and said "My name is Shecky"
"and what I'll say, will bring you tears"
"I'm an addict, a man of knowledge"
"I have to know what makes things tick"
"I know this meeting's for beginners"
"But, I am here because I'm sick"
I told them that I liked dissection
Like Bill the butcher, only more
I described a surgical procedure
And two folks ran right out the door
I smirked a bit, my act was working
I had them wrapped, intent and deep
Now into their heads, I would start working
And in I'd run, I would not creep
More tales of blood and carnage
Sent two more people on their way
The lactaid milkmaid made her exit
I thought for sure, she'd be one to stay
I talked for oh, say forty minutes
The doctor, stood, his mouth was wide
The others too, sat gobs wide open
I think a small dog would fit inside
The doctor said, our time was over
He'd pulled me over for a chat
"I think you need more than you'll get here"
"Did you really do that to a cat?"
I just grinned, I'd had some fun here
I'd not return, that much I knew
The night was not a total loss
On my exit, Bill said I could be a butcher too!!
I called my friend when I got home
I told him of the night of fun
He listened close to what I told him
And he laughed loud, at what I'd done
He told me he had learned his lesson
And my meetings tale was most amusing
From now on, he'd not dissect
And not look deep into my musings
I said my words were there to look at
To confuse your mind is not my task
But, if you like what you have read...please
click "like" or comment....that's all I ask.

She stands for solidity
A force to be reckoned with
Her name comprised of two syllables
Ebbing and flowing effortlessly like ships on a calm sea
Unmistakable beauty radiates
While people are drawn to her presence like a moth to a flame
This girl has a spark which is derived from her selfless soul
The way her eyes smile when she speaks
A true taste of simplicity.
Radiance, compassion
A true friend to have
Kelsey, my cousin
The girl who came from the sea.
Drawing inspiration from someone close to me.
