When I began to write
peace was mine.
I danced in steps
to the music of poetry in mind.
I wrote
sometimes in day,
or middle of night.

Eventually, my heart expanded
writing often until all my heartbeats
were of poetry.
Every breath housed another poem.
Everything inspired me.

In time, I evolved meditating
connecting to source
and NOW...
Every cell in my body vibrates poetry.

Hooray, for me. I am blessed
with a golden pen, a waterfall of poems,
and loving soul.

Heart beats and paper wings,
Tattered clothes and souls that sing.
Beauty that relies on grace,
Salty tears that run down the face.
Hopes that give a crown and throne,
Fears that wittle down to the bone.
Angels protecting with all their might,
Demons killing out of spite.
Making sure another dies,
She won't live to be a butterfly.

I'm not sure what exactly this is, other than a culmination of my mind.

It's too late now
to fix things which we ignored thinking will get eventually fixed all by themselves, maybe we should have acted earlier or maybe we should have cared some more ,
but all these maybe's are now nothing more than a false comfort providing words and now I understand that it was only our fault  we let it become a dying heartbeat -
one which just fades and fades !
My sweetheart I sell my heart beats to bloom
Spare your style and graces for me not to gloom
I carry your fragrance being all alone in room
I am all alone in world only you can fill vacuum

I am victim of spring I am taken over by autumn
Being last hope in life please take care and come
Just leave for my rivals all cynicism and criticism
Please spread some streaks of light on life album

I listened melodious sound in desert sand dunes
I saw your image on mountains full of love tunes
You travel through all suns and through all moons
You are like a wonderful cool breeze in afternoons

I keep hearing the echoes of piano keys and guitar strings.
I’m intrigued by the joy Luyanda brings every time she sings.
It’s amazing how every single note becomes an unforgettable poem.
Sometimes silence echoes through the urban streets of ghettos.
The world’s love and light tries to illuminate in all our broken halos.
My creativity was trapped in broken dreams until I heard her sing.
People give her their absolute attention as she strokes each string.
The sun came out just to impersonate the warmth of her aura.
Even if things don’t always go our way, I know that we will all be okay.
I hear echoes of a million heartbeats between abandoned buildings and crowded streets.
A million heartbeats keep echoing between Hammanskraal and Atteridgeville.
I hear millions of echoes within the silence of busy ghetto and urban streets.
I hear echoes of piano keys and guitar strings every time Luyanda speaks.

When you smile slowly

With half opened eyes

A heart skips new beats

Spellbound and arrested
For the eyes that hold the world.

The spaces between
our heartbeats & hands narrow
whenever I see you.
