Miss Me May 2018
The fire building inside
   Should cause an alarm

But no one sees
    Nor feels the heat

It rises and grows
    As no one listens

Then finally you'll hear
    There she blows
Some people never hear what is being said. And it could be what would make a difference in this world!

Before me, the path like an endless chain
Stretches into the infinite unknown.
O Lord, be the path filled with joy or pain,
Roses or thorns, I dare not walk alone.

O Lord, at times when I am seized with fear
I need Someone whose guidance I can seek.
O Lord, I need to know that Thou art near,
So very near that with Thee I can speak.

Be Thou, my Lord, the Sign-Post at each crossroad;
The Compass of my vessel out at sea:
Let not the waves o’erturn my sailing-boat
Ere I reach the shore of Eternity.

sail me to the ocean
******* a caramel covered kiss
we love the imagination fueled by our higher selves
when we live in a state of bliss
but
to sail this lantern down the river
first put a little fire inside
to light it's way
fantastic voyage

Lord, on this holy day in which we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday, we reflect on your love and guidance for your people as the Good Shepherd. You call us each by name and your sheep know your voice and follow you. There is so much noise in this world that distracts us and pulls our attention away from you and your loving word. Lead and guide us and keep us safe from harm. When we are lost and we stray, you bring us back to be with you again. We are a community; a living body united by you. There is strength and safety in numbers. On Good Shepherd Sunday, we pray for our clergy and especially our priests that they would be good leaders, protectors, and providers for their flocks. We pray that you give them strength, courage, and wisdom to do what is necessary. We pray for their safety and peace for, without their good guidance and council, we would be lost. Thank you Lord for giving us our Shepherds and I pray that we thank and recognize them for their leadership. Help each of us look to you, Lord Jesus, as the model and example as we try to follow what it means to be Good Shepherds for those around us. In this regard, we pray also for those in positions of authority and power that you would put good influences in their lives to help them choose the best good. Jesus, you are the Shepherd of our minds, hearts, souls and lives. Thank you!

Amen

The broom sweeps left,
The broom sweeps right.
But before we sweep,
We must dust the corners tonight.
Dust away the dirt defining your hurt.
Yes, you can reach them, with your height.
Let's take the mop now,
Soak up the floors.
They become water-damaged
With those muffled tears of yours.
And mine.

This old house is ours.
We must keep it tidy.
We waste away the hours
Tearing it apart.

I'll replace the old rags;
They pointlessly push the mess about.
Stains and rings of previous mistakes--
I scrub, but they never seem to come out.
The tape holds them together,
These furniture breaks,
But still they seem to cause
This rotted wood to ache.
We're almost done for the evening.
Follow my lead, love.
Tie up those rags in the bags of
What we needn't worry about for now.
Place away the supplies
In the closet next to the light
So we can rest our eyes
And attempt to sleep tight.

This old house is ours.
So we must keep it tidy.
We waste away the hours
Tearing it apart,
But a clutter is much more workable
When two will take part.
Handling a mess feels much better when someone can hold the dustpan while you sweep.

I wish to write
Something beautiful, Mom

She guided as follows,
If you want to define me
Get more time
Take a pen
A piece of paper
Think a while
Get touched
Write few words

On Love

Love, what
Propagates at your happiness
Absorbs when you are in pain

We are Mothers
And
We are beyond
Your words

But
You can have a try

All the best

And Like that.
I had this overwhelming urge.
I don't know what came over me.
I asked God is this the route I should take.
This habit of association.
To **** out what may seem to be selfish.
Time is of the essence.
This illusion of what is definite or what may not be.
Certainly this proclamation arrived out of nowhere.
Again I asked.
Notating my lack of patience.
I found the choir of mind without direction.
They stood and hummed.
Some in que.
Others were all over the place.
Without a podium or overreaction to the problem.

Amen, acknowledging your grace.
This aura highlighting sudden fixation.
I sought guidence.
Leaving the trail Whince I came.
I felt pain in my rib.
A spiritual curriculum decided by what's missing.
Again I asked.
More left to the imagination
A reiteration of urge.
The potency of silence.
Engaged by a look.
I understood what the choir was saying

Within the arteries of dense retentivity
There lives a captain that attracts
Waves of mass intensity

Oh the stars’ gaze
When we put down the map
And drift into this maze

The magnetic dynamic perpetuates
A life so unjust for the rarity of passion that instigates

A constant motion that renegades
Against the law of inertia
This is the grand escapé

Oh the stars’ gaze
When we put down the map
And drift into this maze
All my life I've been looking for a shepherd,
someone to guide a broken soul.
But all I found was that I looked like a *****,
couldn't find someone who'd come close.

There were people who told me to take drugs,
some people said they'd be a home,
but when supports cracked and I got too heavy,
that's when I'd find myself alone.

Some days were grey and some bled colors,
some days I just couldn't stay warm.
Some days, insufferable, clouds hung heavy,
over my head, they stormed and stormed.

But I soaked it in,
so I could feel low,
so every time I tumbled,
I'd surely know,
that it can't get much worse than this,
that it can't get much worse than this,
that it can't get much worse than this.

All my life,
I've been looking at a *****,
but I am my shepherd,
I am my shepherd.
