I'm not afraid to honk when people get to close
Alarming them of the mistake they're about to make
Don't get closer, for there's a crash awaiting just around the turn
If you get as close to touch me, there is no small tap
I crumble and implode completely
Too weak to take the hit
I leak all that's in me, not able to move again
Yelling when they frustrate me
Throwing concerns into the wind
How can people go through so carelessly
No seat belt to secure who they are
Running red lights to get what they want
Taking the risk, and usually getting away with it/
It's disgusting
Terrifying me to the point where
I don't want to be the one behind the wheel
Let someone else take control
Drive me to my next destination
Choose each road to ride on, less bumpy then my usual
When I drive myself it's scary
The driver can't be trusted
She swerves
Speeds
Parks double spaced
Crashes more than others
Loses control and is unable to see where she'll end
It's better to sit aside and let some one else take on the challenge
Some days, when the sun is glaring into my eyes
I don't see past the next hill
I close my eyes lightly
Imagining flying
Off into the sun and living a bright life
I actually fly out out my lane and shake so bad it's bothersome
I let go and keep pushing my foot forward
Another step, another place to be
I don't want to be here
But I gain my stability again, and slow into my way
Which ever way I end up, be careful if I pass
This is actually about my life/... I'm a bad driver

Forward march, my intelligent young friend
Though your fight be neither fair nor just
Know you shall emerge God’s victor
Simply because you suffered
For what you knew to be right
The decks were stacked against your logic
Many upon many centuries ago
But mayhap now stand a possibility,
Just the tiniest portion of a feeble odd,
May be shaking towards favor
That this day may dawn your chance

I know you to be so very, very brave
I’ve seen not a stronger man yet
But not everyone has eyes of clarity
As you have opened my mind
Retain your noble mind
Hold your sweet mentality dear
You’ll not have it too much longer
If you let yourself fall prey to their fear
Keep your head high and be quite sure
To keep it together and collected to one
Let the pieces make a united front
And work like parts of a machine
No other way can allow
You to gain what justice and fairness seek

Remember always as well
That you fight not for yourself
But for me and for us and for your own child
Who you will love with all you have, just as I have you
Who you shall raise the very best you can, just as I have you
You fight for the future, allow for generations on their way
You fight for the past, avenge generations died in injustice
You fight for the present, for girls everywhere struggling with you
You are a united front, my grandmother and your child alike
Though many years and laws so cruel keep you down
You are our past, present, future and you fight as one

They will keep you down
Remove you from their way
Every second they can
They won’t miss a shot
To fire you down to your place
That’s why it’s your job,
Why it’s your fight to make a new one
Carve out your rightful standing
I know you can do it
You must keep that faith
And harbor it always in your soul
You won’t stand a chance if you let it go
And you must win this fight
My time is up, I’m nearly gone
It’s plain to see, you know it
I can fight with you no longer
Each step here on out you take alone
But remember I am with you:
My soul is tied to yours
My memory lives on within you
My cause and yours are one
And this cause, dear, is important
You must fight til the end
You must win at least part of your fight
So now I say to you as your loving mother
And I tell you, my loving daughter:
Win rights for all women,
Here and across the globe,
Dead, living, and unborn
From one soldier to another, I say to you
Keep up the fight
Until freedom rings for all
From sea to shining sea.
As we woke up each and every morning
His love and beauty comes shining,
His greatness and power is pouring,
And He gave us all His blessings…

I know that I have always been a sinner
But He is always there as a healer,
All the sacrifices of our God, our Father,
He only wanted to make us better.

We only remember Him if we need something,
and there are times we turn our back on Him,
How selfish we are to do such thing
While our Lord God gave us everything…

We only realize our faults when its too late,
But remember, our Lord God can always wait,
Confess all your hatred and your mistakes,
Believe in God and don’t lose faith.

Today all my worries are lessen,
Even my burdens have lighten,
Because God our Father in heaven,
Is always with me 24/7!

You can only imagine for so long

The dreams you think are dreams turn so strong

Dreams do push-ups in your head

Nightmares swim laps without taking breaths

You can only imagine for so long

The far fetched is only for dogs

A nobody in a structure
I seek guidance
to pass through curvature,
to get a chance
and more
to make mistakes
and learn greater.

I'm a ship
Upon the ocean
Pressed and frought
On every side
I'm distracted
By emotion
Drawn and pulled
By every tide

I have beams
Splintered and broken
I have mainsails
Ripped and torn
Never hearing
Your words spoken
I am weakened
And forlorn

I've been put through
Greatest trials
Storms I've made
With my own hands
I have sailed
A million miles
And been beached
On shifting sands

Then, at last,
In desperation
I looked unto skies above
There a Star was
In position
It was God's
Redeeming Love!

For a while I
Followed closely
Where'er the light led
Then distracted
My own boasting
Turned my helm
Yes, turned my head

I could n'er have
Heard the singing
Of the Star
So sweet and high
For the siren song
Was clinging
To my ears and
To my eyes!

Then I saw them!
Rocks so jagged!
The benighted
Siren's realm!
I saw whirlpools
Waves so ragged!
And I fought to
Turn my helm!

There in fervent
Desperation
I sent up a tearful prayer!
That's when Grace
Became my bastion
I was rescued
Then and there!

Now I set my
Golden sextant
To the Star I know is True
I will follow
Never exit
The Guiding Light I found
In You

Though I have
My certain troubles
It's a better life by far!
I do not steer by Polaris
But by my own

Sung to the melody of the old hymn
"Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"

I've been pressing in to God as never before. He has been showing me areas of my life that need immediate change. I've been obeying Him... finally. What we endure to bring about positive change is sometimes excruciating. But in the end it's easier. Certainly a better fate than crashing on the rocks! It's a narrow path through VERY stormy seas. But there's always a break in the clouds... where Jesus stands, arms wide open for any who have eyes to see.

THE MORNING STAR

♡♡♡ LOVE YOU ALL ♡♡♡

I'm so torn
I can't breathe
I'm gasping for air
I can't find the light
I am enclosed in darkness
Please someone
save
me
I am drowning in confusion
I seek guidance but find only dead ends
Someone please
show me the straight and narrow way
