I'm so glad you found me again,
As we embrace, my loving man,
In our imaginations, a million years,
Happy memories and not one tear,
Maybe we're both out of time and space,
Our talents have come from another place,
Adam leads Eve across centuries,
So, this is what you mean to me, finally,
As we kiss, entwining, loving man.....
I'm so glad you found me again.
Feedback welcome.

So glad I wasn’t born a Daesh Child
Or Indian lower caste.
Or in some ghetto in Brazil
Or wherever.

The hands of Fate were kind to me,
Being born a Brit.
An easy life, compared to many men.

To think I could have been born anywhere:
A black, white or yellow,
Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu….
Even a Royal!

I’m glad indeed at what I am,
But should my birth determine all?
I must have Choices
Little though they be.

I choose Agnostic though I’m C of E,
And Humanist is my Way.
My Love of Nature is a solid choice:
Compassionate Kindness being my Creed.

My race and gender (and being Straight)
Are set in stone
Popular or not.
But otherwise I’m just very glad
To be Free.

Just GLAD.....
sitting on my couch
in deep, constant reflection
i fell this overwhelming peace.
this warmth and glow in my body

i'm curious to know it's origins
then as i turn my gaze upwards
i'm a bit cheerful to realize
it's apple pie moonshine
not that bad

My past tells of the future to come;
a reflection of my victories, and the things I haven't done.
a reality of pain, the many mishaps and futures past.
that what doesn't **** me, will fuel me to kick ***,
and I can only lose, for as long as I let it last.

Her
Her lips a dream come true,
        taste like chocolate,
        and plumber than a grape,
        hypnotized by their shape.
Her eyes are something amazing,
        deeper than any ocean,
        their gaze, so amazing
you'll wish you could never escape.
Her body kills me every time,
        perfection in every curve,
        fits me like a glove,
the ways she moves is out of this world.
Her secret is her mind,
how it is connected to mine,
essential to keeping me in line,
loves me in ways I don't even deserve.

I'm so glad we got to where we are
to hold hands
even when we're freezing
to warm each other's hearts
to kisses on rosy lips
and tongues exploring
each other's vast caves
to laughs filled with memories
to small things like
your eyes changing colors
and mine forever remaining blue
to the cliche poems
like this one
to express my love to you
I am so glad we ended up like this
instead of staying strangers
lost in our own stories
because now we're
writing a book
that I hope will
turn into a sequel

Sweet flavor soothing

To a poem
A conversation
That doesn't have to stay on topic
Reasons are not always
   needed to knowing
what is truth
Tell of good news
This is the power of Jesus Christ
Resurrected from cross to make me just
if I'd be bold to testify He purchased my sin.
Thanking God for making that win
for me it never could have been
listen be glad
Holy Spirit come
Jesus you are freedom
Once weak and wounded
Red
Come to Jesus once again
He loves to share in His great poem
Written in white
Before Gods great throne
Pure in all His light
filled with True Water that giveth life
it's conversation He wants in our soul
Jesus will make you whole
Things don't have to make sense at first. It takes time to get deeper understanding. The purpose to question is always to find hope in some way or another.

And as you held your bags
preparing to leave,

I felt pain

the kind of pain you feel
when a terrible bruise starts to fade away
when you know the worst has passed

don't you get it?
you were my bruise

and despite the pain I felt
I am truly glad you left

Showing me,
parts of you,
no one else can see.
Through poetry,
these words express
my heart literally.

The infamy of her love,
         more hurtful than pain.
                seduced by her touch,
as I takes her in vein.
                             tantalize my body,
the rush I take in vain.
                                             hypnotize my brain,
                                                  infatuated by her essence,
without her I would go insane.
                                                                   enchanted by her red flame,
                                                                              my beautiful Mary Jane.
