Like magnets
Drawn in from a distance.
The way the beam from a lighthouse
Draws the attention of sailors.

Your gaze was instantly familiar
Like waking up to the smell of coffee
Or coming home from a storm.
Simultaneously bringing bright flashes
Of welcoming warmth and excitement.

the sun does no more
In your presence.
it is otherwise useless.
the heat of your lips
the warmth of your body
the rays from your eyes
that hold me tight.
Just
set fire to my skin.

let me burn in your sight.

As I look at you
I know that
I have loved you already
for just a short moment
and I swear that it was just
a sheer infatuation

Today was a hard day
I could not live with the choices I've made
Felt my Spirit screaming "I want to break away", wanting to emerge
But I built such thick skin even I can't disperse
Often I catch myself gazing into the Sky
Contemplating starry nights
"Wish I could be among the stars", I say
Wanting to feel surrounded and warm in space
But with my two feet on the ground, my mind again gets pulled away
And for that wish to come true
The only solution I come to
Is pray

I am lost within her gaze

And I melt in her arms

Her call leaves me breathless

Her touch leaves me senseless

All I could do now is watch her take my breath away.

She flutters in her lovely world as lightly as ever
Astonished gaze of mine never ceases to follow her,
A magic trick of beauty that’s meant to wander forever
Hold tight instead and you’d be snuffing out her color...

I wanna raise my voice
Hear my words carried off on stale air
As I gaze all around
I feel the judging stares

Death marches the streets,
A parade of defeat
Showing off these victims
