Honey, you're love is like fireworks
Exploded beautifully at the sky
Lightened up my darkest nights
But lasted in just a blink of an eye
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Eons and eons have passed
As swiftly as swirling mists
Surround the ancient woods.
Something that stands out so completely;Resilience, is not so very discreetly kept locked away from the planets you shine on, to their envy. ~~ *Frank Ruland

Yes, I shine
I smile
I carry on through the days
But my light gets dimmer
Each passing moment
With nothing to shine on
I simply fill darkness with light
I don't bring anything
Those planets that envy?
They're crazy...
I shoot past,
The speed of light
(really fast)
What is there to be jealous of?
My speed...
My strength...
My bright, shining glow...
That may be so,
But what are all these things worth
If I have to do it all alone?

Absolutely Nothing
Line from "Shooting Star" by Frank Ruland, also one of my (soon to be) many entries for his challenge "Let's Do A Line!".
Not long now,
So close, so close,
We get ready,
So soon, so soon,
Just a few hours,
No time, no time,
And it's already gone,
So fast, so fast.

We wait such a long time,
For it to shine for so little,
The light comes and goes,
So quickly,
Before we know it,
It's time to wait again,
But was it really all worth so much?
All this build up,
Hype and anticipation?
Maybe, maybe not,
But we're so close, so close,
There's no time to think.
So soon, so soon,
Are we ready?
No time, no time,
It all happens in a flash,
So fast, so fast.

Trying to stand
  '' go, go..go"
As said my friend
    But of no use
I found no reason
  So much confusion
Desert in my throat
    I filled with water
But it helps
       Of course not !

Many thoughts came
                 and go
A river of ideas
              In my mind
   With fast flow !!
Trying to talk a girl in the library..seeking excuses..but it was too difficult to go there to talk..heart so fast , throat deserted..but at last i overcame it..and go there to talk her..

this world is fast
yet forever
love is strong
but complex
poetry should be short--
we don't have an eternity to read your thoughts
keep it simple,
just simple

Once again, 7 years later, Im faced with these Lights.
The music changed but the mood still the same.
I relax.
Head tilted up I watch these Street Lights whistle a tune by my memories. Strange  people, the car an anomaly from times known, but this feeling... Still so much the same.
No curve this time, no speed limit; like we cared then or now.
Instead of school tomorrow it's a job, instead of teachers it's higher ups. Regardless.
I ask myself the same question now as I did then, "Can we make it?"
Recalling a poem I wrote back in high school,  long gone now.  But the premise is still the same.  Will I ever find what I'm hunting for?

Please don't forget me, don't make me your past
I know time is fleeting, time is moving too fast...
Every second of everyday I'm a prisoner thinking about you
What could have been, what should have been, if only we knew...

Don't make me an old memory that you ignore everyday
Because time keeps on ticking and I might fade away...
I'm stuck in the past and you and me are turning to dust
I've lost all my freedom and we are beginning to rust...

So before we wither and before you lock me into your past
Please know that behind these bars, I have only one thing to ask...
Don't forget me, don't forget all the things in the past
Because I'm a prisoner of time and time is moving too fast...

Despite our sundry transportations, trains and planes,
I don't believe us to really be voyagers;
The years, months, ticks and tocks that come and go in vain,
Like Ulysses at sea, they're the real wanderers.

Doomed to drift on water, timeless, yet growing old,
Aye, never setting anchor, always setting sail
To the end of th'endless river, where lies fool's gold.
That's all the future is; just Melville's ***** whale.

When the boat is languid, we ask it to go faster,
When the boat is lively, we implore it to stop;
The ship capsizes, it had too many masters
But just go with the flow and it'll stay on top.

We couldn't captain a tiny rubber dinghy,
Time's the real pioneer, and we her passengers.
I don't usually do sonnets, but here goes...

my life has moved into overdrive

vision running in crooked circles faster than I can breathe

Sinister forces smothering, weighing down on my chest and
somehow I can't breathe
and all I want is rest

I am dunked underneath
Such vicious hot water and it burns
Time slows in those moments but I still can't seem to breathe
All I breathe is hot water ripped from the sea

And yet
I am alive and I am kicking
And I know I am stronger than most

All I can do is sit tight
And hope I'll find my pace
Some day
