There were seven
Together they felt blessed
Feeling as if in heaven
Until one of them left

Then there were six
Trying to live without one
One less to mix
Then another was gone

Then there were five
Wondering why others leave
And the rest cry
Another left, the others grieve

Then there were four
Dwindling right here
Waiting for more
As another shall disappear

Then there were three
Waiting for another to go
To be released and free
As more goes into the flow

Then there were two
Trying to understand
Who is next to say adieu
Now one is left to stand

Then there was one
Taking in the loneliness
Waiting for life to be done
And last they go into the darkness

later, i will go home
and i will not exist anymore
just as you wanted me to be
i am mute and i won't have eyes anymore to see
to see you
and how we were
and what we wanted, what you used to want
i don't except you to come and find me
you've made it all so clear
that i don't exist anymore
no, i do not exist anymore

Watching the dark clouds passing by
over the head as I wait to see the sky.
Each of them is strangely similar -
one doesn't have heart to love..
one doesn't have hands to hug..
one is too parched to even sigh..
one keeps flying high not seeing
what's beneath the sky..
one disappears without a hint to tie..
one smiles but from far off to say bye..
one is too afraid to even open the eyes..
and all others are strangers
just like all the above..
but all of them disappearing
from time to time.

But one day the heart screamed high -
Enough!
And walks out
without throbbing a bit for a while!
The dark clouds eventually passes by...

From a distance behind glass doors
There he moves elegantly
Then disappears from my sight.

Suddenly at a time and a place
Quite in synch
He smiles at me
A shy smile like never before
Behind no glass door.

Then disappears from my sight
Again.

it's funny how the sky mimicks
some souls
the broken ones, the lonely
the fearful and the cold,
the grey clouds drift by
as the clock ticks, they fill the sky
go wherever the breeze blows
they pour out their everything
a shower here, some lightning there,
left dreadfully empty
they slowly start to disappear
gone, not remembered, just gone

most of the lives below are thankful,
a few are sad, but soon move on.

Its funny how the clouds mimick my soul.

If I could appear,
Then disappear,
What would I do here?
I would disarm nukes,
In silence, with no rebuke,
I would appear,
Then disappear,
Disarm every bomb and gun,
Then appear, peace won,
Tacit Peace on Earth,
What's that worth?
If I could appear,
and disappear!!!!!
Feedback welcome.

What used to make me happy,
Has died and left me here.
What once was always with me,
Is no longer near.

The memory of vibrance,
I saw within his eyes,
Is still in my head
but fades as time flies.

I remember back to when I saw
the smile upon his face.
When the world was in his hands,
Now he's gone without a trace.

The earth claimed him for her own,
Just a body hallowed out
Nothing's left of him now
A memory, a shadow, a doubt.

I too am fading,
Slowly slipping away.
The feeling of letting go,
I do not want to stay.

He paved a path for me,
Easy and clear before my eyes.
I know where it goes,
And in front of me it lies.

How easy it would be,
To take this clear cut route.
I'd follow in his footsteps,
Be a girl all hallowed out.

Like a glass falling
I will shatter into a thousand tiny shards,
Cutting and grazing the skin I hate most.

Like the time we cast away,
I too will disappear and fade away.
No one noticing that it could have been worth something...

Like the ocean on a stormy night
My ship sets sail into the dark abyss
And I pray I do not return from this journey.

Like the mountains that crumble, the ground that trembles,
I am just as unstable...
Do not tell me your lies...

Just like this world, I will die out from hate...

i thought that you may come by
to see if i'm all right
i disappeared without a trace
or were you too busy to notice?
this night is far too dark
and it's echoing loneliness too loudly
i thought that you may stop by
to see if i'm all right
but since you haven't asked,
here's my unheard reply,
no, i am not all right

Babe, we're living in times of history.
It's happening right before our eyes,
But all I do is lie in misery
And wish for warmer skies.

I'm sitting here watching time pass me by.
You're running with it.
I'm trapped in a bed of sorrows and lies,
But I made it myself.

---

Time slowed on the way to Kentucky.
The golden leaves of the southern trees --
I saw it all,
Every last imprint of mother nature's kiss.

It was in that land that father and mother coexisted for a period
Without time,
Without noise,
Without fear,

But that was the land of yesteryear.

Here time sped up, but me,
Well, I'm still stuck
Living in slow motion, and you
Couldn't wait for me.

It's only fair,
For I accelerated far too far for a fair young girl,
Wind in my pigtails
And hope in my heart.

The thing about using hope for fuel
Is that it's a limited resource that drains
                                                                    too
                                                                        soon.

I slowed down and for a time
Found you running by my side,
But my hope ran empty
And your heart ran cold,
And you left me coughing in your path,
Following footsteps that grew older by the second.

I lost you when I lost myself.

For now, I'm still where you left me.
I only got so far as I did
Because you replenished my hope for a short-lived spell,
But I'm too slow for your bustling heart --
I couldn't keep up with your footsteps.

The path is gone.
I vanished with it.
