In this moment so long
There is a figure
Standing
Alone in their sorrow
Wailing out their soulful cries
Wishing so strongly
To have said a proper farewell

Peace, peace
The blind wish
A divine, indeed
Yet so temporary
It only lasts for a moment
Before chaos breaks
With the turn of the tide

Hear me, oh sorry one
I hear your cries
To the fates each night
"Grant me love, to last forever!"
You cry
I hear
Longing to hold you
Alas, I cannot
For we are worlds apart
I cannot mend your broken heart
Even with the most infallible thread
It cannot be tended
Without collapse

Hear me, oh anxious one
I hear your cries
To the stars above
"Send me a sign,"
You plead
"So that I may know what to do."
You wish to know
I hear it
Your soul
Alas, I cannot help
Unless you allow me
Within those walls of stone

Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder
and behold
the beauty
in your eyes
even when it cries

A collection of atoms falls upon water, grass and air. Interwoven by light and by sound.
A woman gathers the atoms together and drinks them, eats them and inhales them into her lungs.
She breathes out a seed, a small seed no bigger than the point of a pin.
Using her hands she digs into the earth, and then plants the seed deep into the earth's crust, covering over it with the dug out soil.
She snatches a sleeping soul out of heaven, his old memories fade away as the new ones stretch over him.
The first new memory is of him shouldering his way out of the crust, breaking out to find the light. He is met with the kiss of sunlight, he cries out, and in return a breast cries milk for him, silencing his cries.
The world is a blur to him, a blur of light and motion, but eventually it comes into focus, and for a first time he sees a face come through the light. It is a beautiful face that shines brighter than the light that surrounds it, a face he would come to call his mother.

Night skies & sun deaths,
Mirror one's heart & hope
Tidal waves & moon beams,
Symbolise one's mind & dreams
As the sun's light no longer remains,
The moon loses its luminous stain
& The waves no longer show their ruinous pain
Leaving the night unable to contain her cries

There will be tears, he sang

Water disguised blood
flooding at the brim of an eye
Gathering pain and hurt
Inconsistent feelings of nothing-happy

Rivers, streams, lakes,
Waterfalls gushing down
Racing drops dripping down heated cheeks
Then broken with shallow coldness
Aches reaching in between cracked skin

Dead rose petals
Falling away from thorn burst stems
Crisp at the tips,
Light in weight until gathered heavily
at the palm of a weak hand
Stained with the mark of blood lines at a wrist
Deranged and shaking while hopelessly gazing
at the happiness laid in a deathbed before you

Sinking teardrops moistening jean pockets
Drip, drip
Another drop
Falling off a water bruised face

For the last time I closed my eyes,
I heard your cries.
You should not have done so,
For the Angels were carrying my soul,
In musk scented cloth,
To heaven, I had earned my worth,
On earth.
But when you cried and complained to the Lord,
In mid-flight the Angels stopped,
I beseeched them to move on,
Life on Earth for me was gone.
Hereafter is peaceful,
Serene, calm and beautiful,
Neither pain nor sorrow,
Everywhere is light aglow.
I walk in the Light of Adam and Eve,
All the prophets and saints before me,
Mohamed (pbuh),Ali (a.s)and Jesus too,
Tell me mum, what on Earth I
would do,
Mum,let go of missing me pain,
I have not died in vain,
I am happy with my Lord,my salvation.

It's so glaring,
yet we've been ignoring,
the cries and screams
from the floor above,
while claiming to mind our business,
we've ignored the sounds of things shattering,
and the painful groans and moans next door.

The signs are obvious,
while we pretend, we're oblivious,
if only we'd stretch a hand,
we'd save the little girl upstairs
from being molested repeatedly
or the boy next door from more trauma.

Oh, lives are being shattered,
how could we go about our day's work, ignoring?
hopes are being destroyed
yet we ignore daily
following up busy schedules,
forgetting the world around us.

Who would play the savior?
who would lend a hand?
who would raise a voice?
who would show some love?
who would protect them from so much fear?
who would say: "all hope's not lost"
We are the ones who keep quiet and claim to mind our businesses when these things happen, we've forgotten that our kids/ siblings could be victims too if these abused victims, turn out to be abusers too because, about 50% of the abused turn out to be abusers. Let's not judge, let's say 'NO'

The tears
The fears
    The lies
The cries
    The pain
The fame
    The jokes
The smoke
    The drugs
The blood
    The sweat
The regret
    The sadness
The blindness
    The cloudy skies...
The one's who die...
