I am dead weight
to everyone around me.

Like coal,
I was a sizzling and crackling inferno,
until the only thing left
was a clump of
Burnt.
Used.
Lifeless.
Coal.

I burden other people
leaving marks
on those
I've barely touched.

I am everyone's coal.
The baggage everyone carries.
The trash thrown away.
The item disregarded, not worthy of living.
Not even given a chance to make a name of itself.
Burnt.
Used.
Lifeless.
Coal.
Remember how I used to love you?
Did everything you wanted me to,
Killed myself inside for the likes of you?
Well..  I'm f-cking through
Through thinking about you
Dreaming about you
Crying tears with your face in the reflection
Finding your stuff when I turn any direction
Hoping it was all a dream
Not as bad as it seemed

But the truth is...
You taught me more than I ever cared to know about you and now that I'm actually through, I've realised you made me stronger and more sure than ever before.

Thank You for all the things you didn't do
I'm sure you'll Never Forget

The devils daughter she was
Birthed from sin
Opposites attracted
One night of
Sadistic
Heavenly
Pleasure
Burnt from her mothers womb
Cries that  awoke
Heaven
&
Hell
She was a beauty unparalleled
Her eyes a contrast
Sclera's were as black as death
But pupil's & iris as
White as silk
She was no ones fool
Knowledge
Satanic
Heavenly
Imbued with in her thoughts
Knowledge was her power
"Angel Winged"
"Devils Horns"
She bathed in holy water
She liked the feel of it upon her skin
"Burning with pleasure"
"Her horns burn bright"
She is akin to both the feelings of
Pain,
&
Pleasure,
For she was of
Heaven
&
Hell
Though both sent lower minions
For the sacrilege birthed
An abomination of beauty and sin
But she was her own person
Not bowing to either above or below,
She was of two worlds,
While living in plain sight,
That girl with black fire in her eyes she is the
Angels  Devil of Purity & *Sin.

Creation* blessed marriage
Upon them both,
Inseparable from the start,
Space
&
Time
They were together
But the universe was expanding
Pushing them further apart,
But Space is infinite
And Time can bend,
So they always met at the beginning
For they were in
Love,
Forces,
Ripples,
Transcending upon a universe
There love would exist
Outside our perception,
A force of natures
They were together from the start,
There love shone through stars
Burning bright,
Through out the universe
"If you looked hard enough"
You could see their enduring light,
A marriage at the beginning of
Space
&
Time
Two together till the very end..

I have opened up my mouth
and taken out a spare pair
of butterfly wings
(pinched between thumb
and forefinger),
used-to-be-dusty but now
slightly damp from their
place of residence.
I dried them myself,
striking match after match
and holding each underneath,
close,
but not too close.

Instead of drying they
shrivelled up like petals
after leaving the flower.
As if to preserve warmth,
curling inwards,
they shivered, animated
by the heat of the glowing stick.

The flame got too close
to my fingers. I dropped it,
swearing. Pinched the wings too
hard (reflexes), the membrane
broke between my fingers
and the remnants
of freedom fluttered softly
to the ground.

My story doesn't start with,
Once Upon A Time
It starts with my kingdom
The king, the queen, and their only son
They were happy together in the castle they had
But every story starts with a tragedy
The king and queen clashed quite often
His bottles and mistress followed him home
Then he was gone, he opened the door and left
They didn't see him again after that
The queen fell into smoke and bitter liquids
Their son was forced to take charge
Things moved on slowly but the kingdom crumbled
Years past and plants took over the walls
The prince decided he'd had enough
He rebuilt his family
He build walls around his heart
Then he fell sick
He moved far from home
He held the weight of the pain on his shoulders
He cloaked himself in silence
An angel came and picked up the pieces
She brought him light
But he crumbled within slowly
His heart burning with the rhythm of a drum
It's true what they say
Happily ever afters really are only in books
That boy is me and the queen is my mother
The rancid hearted king was my father
So long and goodnight

And the suns of man
Fell
Upon
The ground
Mushrooms grew from
This birth of suns to ash
These seeds did
Fall,
Blossom,
Burn
Life from the ground below,
The stalks of man
That once grew to the heavens,
Now
Crumble,
Topple,
Fallen,
Achievements of man
Life turned to dust,
The sun blinds for a moment
Then incinerated
Troubles of life vaporised,
In
a
Instant,
These creations of man
Burst to life all across the land,
And ash filled the air
Flesh,
Bone
Soul,
Burnt out of existence,
And still they blossomed
Rains of fire,
Upon the lands of green
Turned to black,
Suns birthed by man
Now extinguish,
*Man from the existence of life upon the land.
Its not how, its a matter of when

The heat radiating
From my burns
Is enough to keep me warm
Once you've left the room.
