The perfect friend has flaws
And he knows all of mine
They laugh, joke and flatter,
Leaving your worries behind
He's sweet, shows he really cares
Even when there's none, he makes the time

The perfect friend is always honest
Even when you don't want him to be
You'll know they want what's best for you
Especially when it's really hard to believe
He'll remember the stories you've shared
And be there to tell you it's time to just 'breathe'

The perfect friend has his own demons
And so many things to worry about
Although, you're there to help him through
They still have time, to lift you off the ground
Hold each other up, day after day, resilient
Sensing the laughter, when there isn't a sound

The perfect friend is beautiful inside
The perfect friend has a heart of gold
This perfect friend is here to stay
He's truly tried and touched my soul
My perfect friend is perfection indeed

They say there's no such thing
             as "perfect".
Yet,
    here I write,
          with solid proof,
       That anything is possible
I've found the perfect friend,
              It's true.

Welcome to a world

and no one is judged.

It’s an interesting world,
where everything is special,
and we all have one part in it.

The world is like one major story,
we’re all the main characters
and are adding onto it.

With this world we live in,
we can make our life
whatever we want it.

We can make it beautiful,
we can make it exciting,
we can make it ours.

We can fight our demons,
and fight off our major problems,
and come out victorious.

We live through heartbreaks,
we live through disappointments,
and we live through failures.

However,
this world is still ours,
to do what we want with it.

Let’s make it worth something,
let’s truly make the world ours.

Drowned out emotions

World War III perceived in his eyes

Not the first or last time

He wanted to tear his eyes out

The last sign of his vulnerability

But when you catch him smiling

Oh that smile—

For a beautiful second,

My own demons stop shooting bullets

To stop and stare

Light brownish **** lip stain to match the season,
Gold eye liner to make my brown eye color lighter,
Concealer and foundation to even out the skin tone,
bronze pink blush to add a bit of color and define my cheek bones,
Medium brown eyebrow pencil to perfect my eyebrows,
A stripped black and tan shirt with a brown scarf, blue jeans and black boots;
Hair is in a delicate curly updo so that my face gets more attention,
Burberry perfume to bring a soft delicate trail of her aroma,
my make up looks natural yet it adds color and defines the beautiful features of my face.
I do this not to cover my flaws,
not because I am insecure,
not for attention,
Simply because I want to pamper myself.
simply because I deserve to look pretty.
simply because I want to be as beautiful on the outside that I am on the inside.

My mind is a hurricane,
my tongue a tsunami,
A natural disaster
But that's okay
because you told me
nature was beautiful
and I've never wanted to believe anything more.

I had gotten so used to self-hatred
That when he called me
"Beautiful"
I wondered why,
Why in the world
Would a bee leave
Roses, marigolds, sunflowers
And choose to be in the mud?
"Because YOU," he said,
"You are my lotus".
