My hope for your life
Is for your best happiness,
For your peace of mind.
And I treasure our friendship
Which keeps me from troubling you.
Part 5.
Perfect hope dies without your love.
I can do without,
I can get along just fine:
That is my motto.
I can go without you here,
I will be fine without you.
Part 4
There was just no time.
How could I expect so much
When we had little?
The thought, idea, hope, dies
Because we never can be.
Part 3
I don’t hope in you.
There are days when I wish to,
But I know you well;
You wouldn’t want me to,
And I know, I know you’re right.
Part 2
You’re a perfect dream
Only lovely in my heart;
But when I wake up,
Daylight shines on me and says,
“He’s perfect, and you are not.”
Part 1
Attineo Jan 2015
My life is too short
To focus on the sadness
And depravity.
I will set my eyes on You
And all that You are in me.
I will lift my eyes unto the hills; where does my hope come from?
My hope comes from the Lord, the maker of Heaven and Earth.
Attineo Jan 2015
Light will meet the dark
In an exchange of battle;
Dark will seem stronger,
But light will win in the end.
It was foretold from the start.
Attineo Jan 2015
I will watch you here;
I will keep you safe with me
Until the sunrise,
When it spears the eye with light,
Death and dark fleeing behind.
Whimsical fancies,
Dreams on the back of your eyes:
Reality masked,
Only the daylight remains;
The blackest night is shattered.
Lights flash overhead,
Shadows lace the journey on:
Heavenly beings.
Life has accelerated;
Death rushes up to my face.
