It takes a lot to marry someone
they decide to not to trust someone

This world is full of narcissists
they decide to refuse the abuse for someone

Physical, verbal, hidden, silent
torture is rejected in all the forms

HIM
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
HIM
I like him yum, warm and strong
just like my coffee and routine

I watch him glowing, wide and bold
just like my hobby and work

I call him sweet, polite and honorable
just like my name and aim

I confront him mirroring and matching
just like my face and flame

A Sight
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
Sue is deeply hurt
she looks for hope in dark
she finds a soul who holds
the broken pieces in her

she sits in a black hole
she worries and panic a lot
she needs a helping hand
she loves to hear some support

she listens that birds are chirping
she smiles and laughs with them
the sun becomes brighter
when she holds a purpose in hand

her emotions are now calm
she is feeling much relaxed
can you believe all this happens?
after drowning all the regrets?

keep on living these moments
there is good after every bad
there is love after hatred
there is life after thoughts of death

this is all normal to experience
this is all acceptable to recieve
just pass through it now and always
whatever you imagine you will get

Your Ex
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
he is a parasite
he is a leech

he feeds on your blood
he is full of greed

he has a plan to put you down
without even your notice

he started with love bombing
he ended on blaming

he did projection all the time
he injected toxicity within your happy soul

he targets his prey
he handles ten at times

he can never be loyal
he does chronic lying

show him the mirror
show him the death

cut off his oxygen
don't ever interact

Rolling Stone
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
He seems as round as a stone
But he has some sharp corners

He is thrown by her feet at someone's door
She picked him up and cleaned a lot

She motivated him and offered support
He turned out to be an impressive soul

She hoped to continue and asked for more
He walked away to the feet who have knocked him before

She is confident that he will be ****** again very soon
He does not know that now he will never gain her support

He is a rolling stone
She admits it as a whole

A turtle
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
he is a turtle
she is a rose

he moves slow
she daily glows

he is rough and coarse
she smells perfect

he closes his eyes
she flies in petals

he proposed her
she refuses

he goes down underwater
she amuses

he came as a wet pet
she firms her guards

he tells a story
she discards

he stops trying
she loves the scar

he stays in front of her
and she remarks

what do you need?
what do you want?

his voice is crisp
he utters at last

I just need affection
I just need admiration
I just need approval
because I am a narc.

Happy Stars
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
Are my nights dark?
why there is no star?

Is my smile wide?
how it looks so bright?

Are my hands soft?
why nothing it holds?

Is my heart filled?
where is all the love it dripped?

Are the days glowing?
I see myself growing

Yes, you are right!
we all are riding on this life.

Today's Reading
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
I fetch a card from my deck of a love tarot
that showed me the lovers and I was reckoned
Like a crumpled paper my heart was shrunk
I restored my senses and stimulate my mind
How this has happened in this miserable life?
He is no more with me and there is no love inside
It is the irony of daily reading with the cards
It makes my wish truthful and covers my scars

Massive Love
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
I fell in love
with a narcissist
his words were sweet
his tone was soft
his actions were slaughtering
his silence was throbbing
he kept on weaving
a spin of web
around my heart
and I just left

Thoughts of a Therapist
Nazish Idrees Sep 2019
It is all about how we think
We fall towards what we lose
We love the one who is unreachable
We tend to forget who stays in front of us
We regret the chances we don’t take
We met the people who didn’t mean to remain
We touch the sky and hit the ground
We stand up again and lost in a crowd
