Incomplete
Kanishk Kandoi Sep 2020
Hurt to the end point
Broken down from every point

The reasons undefined
Always seemed to disappoint

The way you used to see me
Now feels like the sting of a bee

From the unforgettable moments
Till never ending to agree

All the feelings remain trapped
And the feelings never to adapt
The poem of a sudden change of people’s feelings towards each and its slow impact

Friends
Kanishk Kandoi Aug 2020
I know you care for me
And i care for you too

Even in hard times and
The good times we’ve been through

You’ve always been there
And I’ll be there too

Will never leave your side
Till the last day I’ll bide

Hurt?
Kanishk Kandoi Jul 2020
If one breakup
really hurt that much

If one person leaving
really hurt that much

If that would be the cause
Of being dead inside

then the world
would be running
over dead people!

Lie
Kanishk Kandoi Jul 2020
Lie
The stuff that you heard about me
Is a lie

But the way you heard it
Is even worse

Partner
Kanishk Kandoi Jul 2020
Like a cover over a body as a shell
As sweet as a taste a caramel

Protecting you in any sort of trouble
While living inside their own little bubble

This partner of yours is the special one
Always there when you’re up and yawn

A lifelong hold of two wonderful hands
Never ending bond of a lifespan
Bond sharing amongst two loved ones

Life’s short
Kanishk Kandoi Jul 2020
On the edge of the bays
Counting the number of days

Realised that the end is near
But there’s nothing to fear

The last days might be close
Yet no one ever knows

Till when you’re going to survive
And its not a video-game to revive

Live past the days to come
Enjoy every small beat and thrum

Enjoy life to its fullest
Until you get hit by a bullet
A little poem about living life and making every single moment count as we never know when something can happen

Lesson
Kanishk Kandoi Jun 2020
For every curtain closed
And every eye shut

There was a door opened
With a lesson taught
Learning from the dead and controlling our emotions with time

Homeland
Kanishk Kandoi Jun 2020
I always wanted to plant some trees
Wanted to make a habitat for the bees

But then some  humans came and destroyed my backyard
I was alone and was unable to guard

Some of my neighbors tried fixing the doing
But instead of cleaning the mess , the smoke started spewing

Due to the use of machines the nature was harmed
After alot of cleaning the smoke was calmed

Took a little hard work but the Homeland was good
Could finally see the forests with a nice and pleasant mood
Its how a group of people came together and cleaned their homeland after some hard work

Nature
Kanishk Kandoi Jun 2020
Can we take a moment,
And realise that only some men
look good clean shaved
And not our mother nature
Save the earth before it can’t save us

Crimes and protests
Kanishk Kandoi Jun 2020
All the constant protests
And with world also burning
All i could see how the tables were turning

The police continued brutality
They started using sticks
Also started throwing bricks

The state was in a state of chaos
People had to step up the game
All got included with the ones with fame

Amazing results were shown
The state was progressing at all time
With the decrease in number of crime
A poem about the current state of nations and protests in various parts of the world regarding rights and decrease in crime

Black
Kanishk Kandoi Jun 2020
It all just started with different race of black
All the bad ideas were just stacked in a sack

They strived for their rights until they got the light
They tried to have the freedom without even having to fight

But then the other people started treated them roughly
They had to come on streets and fight for them toughly

After all the fights and struggles they got to live the life they wished
Now that all has happened the older days are missed
A poem for the good days to come and racism to end

The struggle
Kanishk Kandoi May 2020
It seemed like everyone fell apart
The board never hit the dart

Everytime i tried to speak for myself
Felt like i was nothing but an elf

When no one was willing to talk
I just went for a little walk

I started to overthink and then came in my mind
No one was ever gonna be very kind

I just went to bed thinking tomorrow will be a better day
But who knew all the thoughts would get lost in the way

Then i thought of pulling a line
But yet there was no sunshine
Just a realisation of how everything works out
Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
You flowed like the river flows in a stream inside my head

I remember all those nights we used to spend in my bed

The thought of losing you just seems so uncomfortable to me

And you just made my thought a reality and left me like a leaf leaves a tree

I used to care about you all day and constantly keep the track of your daily routine

But you just kept forcing me to stop giving you more attention than my addiction to nicotine

The day you left me I was really sad and the only thing in my head was to commit a suicide

But no one ever will understand how it felt to not have a friend by my side
this is a poem about how a person faces bad tragedies in life and how people go out of our lives without thinking about how we will deal with that

heart break
Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
I dropped some cereal in my bed
Got all the ******* in my head

Moons and stars in the sky
Smoking **** and getting high

All day we dream about the little futures
In out hearts are some creatures

Running and screaming getting trapped in our souls

Just listening to us down there and stopping us from completing out goals

People kept on leaving me in the worst moments

All just to realise that my friends were my opponents
just a little rap on how a small creature in our head stops us from achieving our goals by giving constant fear

stumbling upon stones
Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
As beautiful as the starts went

Our life suddenly hit us with a dent

All of a sudden our life had changed

Only to realise that all of your life wasn’t always arranged

You start to think about all the ups and downs

And you keep skipping all the days of frowns

Then u come to a conclusion that we have yet to start our day

Again get hit by a stone which lead you to astray
this is a poem about how our life changes with adulthood and how life gives us minor ups and downs frequently and coping with such problems in life

feeling of love
Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
The waves of oceans pass by when i talk to you

The thought of you makes me more lit up than a pikachu

You make me feel like I’m a whole new person in the world

And make me go crazy with your hairs curled

With those beautiful eyes that sparkled even in the darkest times

The stealing of my heart would be your favorite crime

I love you from the bottom of my soul and heart

Just keeping that hope that we never have to be apart
this is a poem about how the feeling of love can drive a person crazy and lead to having so many beautiful thoughts and how a single person can make a persons life beautiful

Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
The lightning in the sky reminds me of you

Just the nights we spent and the fun we had as two

The rainy days where we stayed home and shared our love

How we made up things better even though they were tough

I might’ve just felt so lonely when u left

It was as surprising as the our sun rising from the west

At last just wanted to say that everything reminds me of the time we spent

And the way you passed me leaving those beautiful trails of scent
this poem is about a person who had a lovely time with his loved one and how that loved one had once left him without any trails and without any reason, as a surprise.

Life of the living
Kanishk Kandoi Apr 2020
All the viruses come out of human beings

Only if we could stop them with just a change in perspective of seeing

These viruses completely make our visual senses foggy

But we only realise it when the cereals get  soggy

That’s when u realize u are at the edge of your life

Having a constant threat of an attack with a knife

You still take risks and try to find the cure

And then realise that you’re extremely unsure

That’s how our life works with all the threats and risks

Until you sit down and enjoy the crisps
this is a poem about how viruses define our life and how life gives us new opportunities with risks and how we need to enjoy even the smallest moments in life

— The End —
