what does love feel like?
i heard it feels like butterflies in my stomach
fluttering about inside
i heard it feels like fireworks
sparking,
an explosion of colours i'd never even think of seeing

what does love feel like?
they say it feels like fire
warm and slow
and sometimes it grows so big it can burn whole buildings
they say it feels like floating on a cloud
it's soft and smooth
and so high up, that they can only see the flickering lights of cities down below

what does love feel like?
i heard it feels like skin against skin
and lips against soft lips
i heard it feels like a magnet,
pulling you closer and closer to someone
until you're completely inseperable

what does love feel like?

i've never been in love before.

I want to tattoo his love into the universe
So it becomes permanent and never strays

I wish I could wrap his words around me like a blanket
So on the coldest nights I can feel his warmth surround me

He like a safe place; a security blanket
He makes life feel surreal
i know that i set myself ablaze for you
but i liked the warmth it brought

i liked the way it felt to love someone
with a burning passion that cannot be put out

but when you're burning alone
your soul starts to wither
and you no longer feel the warmth
only the pain
one of the many poems about you

Warm golden curls
Swirling beneath the surface
A porcelain crater
Filled to almost overflowing
Delicate toes
Tickled by the current
Bronzed summer legs
Tipped up in relaxation
I love the way the water is just the right temperature. I love the way the subtle heat unlocks my muscles and lets the tension flow out. I love the dappled light on my skin. I love the way my legs and side break the surface like new continents. I love this bath.

Blinking lights I see,
As I empty my restless self,
Captivating like twinkling stars,
That would do death,
To shine upon us their charm,
Like you,
And everyone I'm thinking of,
Are those flickering beacon,
That saves me from sinking,
Ergo you are,
The so called profound beauty,
In this vast dark realm of mine,
Indeed.

you invite me into your heart
give me a warm welcome

lead me through the foyer
and show me around

but it all feels familiar
i think ive been here before
may i stay for a while?

On this day I've nothing to give thee, save one but my heart I offer it freely.

Trapped in the cold of winter's asylum, your love warms my heart as to springeth to blossom.

Your kisses like snowflakes fall gently on my skin, melting in a pool for our emotions to swim.

You've the midday sun forever upon thee, casting a light that lovingly guides me.

The key to my heart is wrapped in your love, soaring above in the form of a dove.

So forever together we walk hand in hand, even unto death to the promised land.
In America
I watch the sun
Set on everyone

Encumbered by the
Warm hearty glow

To think i will sleep
And the rest will arise
To wake up alive

On the other side

Amazes me
crazy to think we all live on the same chunk of rock in space

A wisp of a breath, a flick of a brush,
The canvas begins to be filled with colour.
A hint of violet, a dab of vermillion,
It seems that she is painting a girlish parlour.

A red drips slowly down her wrist,
As she wipes away at her work.
The foggy glass seems to offer some relief,
Against the cold harsh winter.

The girl stands on her frost-bitten toes
And look upon the scene with wonder.
As the tantalizing warmth appear against her fingers
She can't help but ponder.

Why are some people in the parlour
But others look from the outside in?
For she can't help but question
What is deep within.
This scene is depicting a girl looking into a parlour in the midst of winter. She does not understand why she cannot go in even though she is freezing. The concept of social hierarchy seems like a world away yet she tries her hardest to get a peak of what is going on inside. She had cut herself on some patches of the uneven glass and her lips were turning blue from the frost-bite. I would like to think that this takes place in Russia.

Sometimes
A heart beat
A pair of arms
The warmth of the body
Around yours
Can make you feel happy

Ah
People say
Don't look for happiness
In other human beings
But let me tell you
Shhh
nothing can take the place
Of a warm hug
And a smile
Of the beloved

And sometimes
Even a stranger.
