There is thunder in our hearts,
Lightning in our souls,
A pounding in our chests and a
Quaking in our bones.
“Our time has come!”
The cry arises,
“Our time has come!”
We charge forward unafraid,
Into life’s tantalizing parade,
Our colors waving high
As we ride on to the sky,
Chasing our dreams and visions,
Decimating anything in our way.
There is thunder in our hearts,
Lightning in our souls,
A pounding in our chests and a
Quaking in our bones.
“Our time has come!”
The cry arises,
“Our time has come!”
Today's inspiration was Imagine Dragon's song "Thunder". Hope you enjoy!

As the streetlights flicker,
my face is wet with tears.
As the storm grows thicker,
I try to hide from my fears.

It’s not working.
Thunder isn’t thunder anymore.
It sounds like shouting.
People screaming themselves sore.

I’ll try to hide.
Cower in my bed.
But it sounds like a crashing tide,
and it won’t ******* END.

Stop, I whimpered.
Please, no, I cry.
But I can’t speak louder than a whisper,
no matter how hard I try.
I was in a big one recently and... ****, I was scared shitless...

INSIDE a mating call of sky,
the thunder roars
striking landscape divine.

It announces TO TAKE NOTICE
electrifying
with loves true essence
TRAVELING INTO humans hearts
that stand readied to ECHO.

Sky beingS merge
in moment
presenting gift from sky.
Vibrations rise
as humans awaken
to it’s sweet sound
while feet dance.

With DEEP inhale,
Whole of Being ACTIVATES
for Renewal of
heart, and mind
TO walk gracefully.

Fire arrows move creating bridge
to reenergizing all with
explosive feelings grand.
ALL TO welcome life's mystery
AS CLOUDS PART TO make way
for thunder warriors of love
to center inside new times.
The new dawn is now
and with gratitude I say
NOW celebration WILL begin
AS rain beings recycle the moisture
so Earth Mother becomes green.
AS breath SPEAKS WITH A
HAIL-LO-WAY-IN
aligning to the language of love.

The language that
becomes art
onto canvas of self,
sky, and earth.

Let the festivities begin.

bold rolling thunder
lightning quickly strikes twelve times-

I am thunder
Silver fire
Felt like a hot tin roof beneath young feet
And scolding
Smoking like the copper wire
Paper on a guillotine
Slicing through an echo chamber
I am the terror of a plastic souls desire

That is
Until only bane of self remains
And all once again are made the same
Even when uncomfortable. It's unexplainable for sure. No words can or will ever do it justice.

Faint clap
Lighting
spontaneous scream -Thunder
Dark and gloomy skies
Raindrops
The wind dances with the branches

Creatures race to shelter
Cold breeze whistles, kicks the grasses and drag the leaves
The animals slowly wait and watch from the dancing trees
Echoing caves and fading sandcastles
a STORM

. . . and finally i
allow the sun to
set on another
failed love
affair

two years too
late ?  or maybe
right on
time . . .

my shell and my
spear - this heart
of mine in its
place of power
again ,
but changed

as an emerald bird
of thunder
frees the water
from its cell
in the
sky
