Sleepless nights
Breathless days
Tear filled eyes
Drowning minds

It is an eternal winter
Or a thousand year darkness
Perhaps a never ending storm
It is every bad thing that can happen

It is hard to not feel hopeless
It is hard to not doubt
I have no assurance
I could only hope

Hope for spring to come again
Hope for sunrise and daylight
Hope for a clear, blue sky
Hope for the best

But for now,
I have to feel the coldness of winter to appreciate the blooming flowers of spring
I have to be in dusk to see the sunrise and feel its warmth
I have to bathe in the rain to get a glimpse of ocean blue sky
I have to experience hell
To be in heaven

Everyday
He shows me his
Folly smile
And sparky
Gullible eyes
Without stain of shame.
He’s innocent mind  knows how to imagine
But learns nothing
Without stain of shame.

However he knows how to value
Things seem plain and simple
He makes it incredible
That brings overwhelming joy

Tender and playful heart
An innocent mind that always wonder
But attention that not last a second
What’s wrong with other people?
Sometimes he ask his mother
My child you are different from others
Keep your heads up look above
Know your worth
No matter bad they say to you
It is not true
You cannot be judged by anyone
Except you
People, animals and non-living
Don't judge but understand them by heart
Appreciate what you are seeing
You may find me there when you feel alone
If you smile I will smile back
Then I will hug you and shower you with my love

Words gave by his Mother
He treasure it forever
Then life challenge him
Judge and hurt his feeling
He doesn't fluster

Remembering his Mother’s words

Bring him strength and greatness
It protected his peace and happiness
That cannot steal by someone else

Even others inflict pain to him
Still he shows compassion
To anyone around him
He still give them genuine smile
And good laugh that they will not convey why
Because
He surely knows
Appreciate things even those simple
He’s grateful
More than you do

dim lights and starry nights
house surrounded by the waves
over the bridge then under again
as the night turns into day.

your finger tips against my skin
a stirring buzz of passion within
a gentle kiss and soft gaze
lips tremble and eyes a haze.

sincerely yours,
my body and soul.
our actions speak volumes
brave and bold.

our words speak of centuries
and lost stories untold.
how is your body so young
but your soul so old?

and I relish in every part of it
every time your lips move
how they caress each syllable
each careful vowel you choose.

how those lips caress my skin
gentle then needing
hard and fast, and between breaths
sensual and teasing.

afterwards you'll get me water,
food, comfort and stability.
I don't even need to ask
you read my mind almost instantly.

so,

I'm falling for you.

And though I'm afraid.

I shan't back down, I will not run away.

If it means I see your smiling face

I'll face my fears everyday.
more of a weird wordy rant then anything else

I'm afraid
I'll admit it
I'm scared.

To open up to you
to love again
to be naked, vulnerable, bare.

For everyone I've ever
cared about
in that way

Has hurt me
beyond repair
so I fight this urge to run away.

I decided to walk out one fine day,
To search for the 'happiness' of which people say,
I searched on the roads, I searched in the sky,
When I couldn't find any, I asked each passer-by.

Nobody had an answer that could feed my mind,
But then, I heard someone say what I'd endeavored to find,
He asked me, "Can you see those kites, flying free,
And that happy cuckoo bird, singing joyfully?"

"Have you heard the laughter of a child,
Or spent a noon chasing butterflies in the wild;
Sat with a cup of coffee on a rainy day,
Or enjoyed an ice stick one fine May?"

"It's hidden in the extra roti that your mother makes for you,
Or the smiles that you leave through the good you do,
Happiness is when you get to read a book after long,
And when you get to hear your beloved's song."

I listened and listened, and returned a smile,
How beautifully it's scattered, I wondered for a while.
In the unseen pockets of life, joy clings,
And happiness - it lies in the littlest things :)

Change

welcome change, it's been such a long time
embrace change, it will not harm (us)
it's only (us) pursuing new things we aren't used to
change that works and change that protects us
welcome change with fresh and clear direction

Morning sun awoken slumber
Now a nightmare truly begins
Dreams becoming the hunted
Obstacles daily in-cumbered

Pushing through treacherous hurdles
Morning sun awoken slumber
Shedding all unwarranted burdens
whispering failures a cumber

Self worth in a constant wonder
Searching for all the fading stars
Morning sun awoken slumber
All failure singed within memoirs

To learn from all life's mistakes
Not to be another number
Happiness at times we must fake
Morning sun awoken slumber
Sometimes dreams can be out of reach
do we give up?
run and flee?
We knuckle down, we fake a smile
we take the negativity and make it kneel
the trick is never give up in life
even if that is how it makes us feel.

I met you in September
When the leaves were just tempted to change
I met you in September
When the earth felt like autumn in the rain
I met you in September
3 months shy of my birthday
I met you in September
apart from headache or drama
I met you in September
listening to Frank, Kendrick and Lana.

I met you in September
and so I say it clear
I only met you in September
because it's my favourite month of the year.
I met someone, but not in September. It was actually in July 2 years ago.

blood flows like dreams
settles a wriggling fate
in fields of grass
evaporating with the morning sun
fulfilled in its creation
fulfilled in its dissolution
formless virtue
the final verse
being folds back to non being
