She was standing
The other side of that
busy road
He was looking at her
From the
Opposite side
Standing at the footpath
Her eyes met his
She saw the person
She wanted to see
For such a long
Both of them were
In a hurry
But
Staring and communicating
In sign language
Smiling
Seemed so loving
He crossed the road
Came towards her
And
Gave away the
Chocolate
He brought for her
And bade her.
The small little things
Really matter.
Just felt like writing this although rather than a poem it seems like a story

fingertips against sore muscles
constellations on skin

star embedded irises reflect
a universe within.

stardust & moons cusp
varied stages of wax & wane

limitless yet weighted heavy
upon my orbital plane.

try as I might, I can't ignore
as planets grow closer

and comets soar

the parallel gravitation
I've tried so hard to ignore.

you said you were an addict
i thought you are addicted to
joie de vivre, happiness or maybe smoking

you were an addict
but you were addicted to
sadness, drugs and pain

you were an addict
and i was ready to drown with you
untill you said you love drugs more than me

i'd rather be kissing in summer
so innocent and so naïve
you can taste the strawberries right off my lips

i'd rather be cuddling in winter
so cozy and so soft
in my mouth, i can taste your past
that's what i want and that's where i am

I put on my costume
and I go to my big box
The Manager tells me about the numbers
and how I've fallen off

He shakes the paper over my head
I need the paper to buy the things
to eat and live
and to get the things I don't need
but want

You come to my big box
without your costume on
it's your day off - and you've come to spend the papers
that your Manager gave you
when you put on your costume
and danced for the others out of costume

to buy the things
to eat and live
and to get the things you don't need
but want

and the Manager - he has his own costume
that brings in more paper than you
so he can go on the day he doesn't come to the big box
and visit, without his costume

to buy the things
to eat and live
and to get the things he doesn't need
but wants

and we all put on our costumes
and pretend to love to dance and smile
to collect the papers
that we need

to buy the things
to eat and live
and to get the things we don't need
but want

and then we die

and the man that owns the box
smiles, and counts the papers

Some things don’t necessarily happen just by chance
but come about with actions we do or not in advance.
