I scream over the banging and pounding
I doubt you can hear me
Throat raw and red with anger
I throw my words at you like knives
But they never reach you
For my tongue is foreign
Like a wild animal confined to a cage
I wish I could break free
To snap your neck
And make you see
This world is not as it seems
These people are not real
Society is too far gone ❤️

I love the look in their eyes
When they realize
The little, smiling, innocent girl
Who’s always kind
Always does her best
Never indulges
Listens to...
Metal?
But it makes perfect sense to me
I can’t always smile
Sometimes,
You just need
To scream
I show you the calm
But I assure you
I am the storm

At the end of the day, all things end.
When all is said and done, we are merely men.
Nearly men never find their true love.
We are left so close but never touched.
So far from being,
Always only ever seeing and dreaming,
While inside we remain…silently screaming.

When life gets rough
I know I should take it,
push through

But I just want to scream
"I can't"
I am going to fail all my exams I don't know what to do...

If I scream at all
A tree in the woods sees but
No one will hear me
I think this
Is what death feels like
A never ending scream
filtered through a smile
No one can hear
Helpless
Hopeless
Silence
No one will ever know
What hides behind
These eyes

It appears I have an expiration date
Tattooed on my back
That screams "10 years"
And you were keeping track.
What am I doing wrong?
