I beg for it to stop.
For a break in the chain
I am weary with empathy
But now I am free.
Benevolent.

I roam alone, until it begins again
I pace secluded, amongst my barren thoughts
I wander tender empty walls
I feel nothing.

I yearn for it all to become too much
She pulls me away from the light
Into the darkness, I beg for compassion.
I cut my ties, and dissolve these cords
And she weighs me down, malevolent.

I connect.

Black words pull,
Asking eyes scan each line;
Desiring they will win
Attention by their design.
Placed on a page,
One letter at a time.
Hoping as they age
They will more and more shine.
They are useless unless read,
Pointless till understood.
Hearts that see why words are said
Receive what is in them that is good.

When he covers my mouth
I know it’s about to be good
He laid a blanket for me
On the ground
A pillow for my head
My hair, being pulled

He turns me around
Grasps my waist
Like he can’t wait
To tease me
and make me scream
Tie me up and use me

Harder hitting
Hurts, it hurts, but I like it
Oh, Babe. Best I ever had. Come back. I'm not finished yet.

the ocean waves crash in and out
          in and out
                              in
                      and
              out
on a loop
            loop
               loop
                  loop
repeat after repeat repeat repeat
again and again and again and again
a force pushes them
            a force pulls them
                                     push                  pull
                                          push          pull
                                             push     pull

like a magnet

What’s it on my lips,
You want to taste?
What’s it on my cheeks,
You want to touch?
What’s it on my nose,
You want to smell?
What’s it in my ears,
You want to hear?

What’s it in my hair,
You want to pull?
What’s it on my neck,
You want to bite?
What’s it on my hips,
You want to sway?
What’s it in my hands,
You want to grab?

What was on my back,
You chased so well,
Thinking that in was just lust.
When, in fact, you’ve found
Love
Looking straight into my eyes.
Contoured May 2018
Motionless they sit,
Collecting dust on the shelf.
Completely inanimate,
An honest reflection of oneself.
I grab hold of the string,
No audience, no stage.
Now controlling this thing,
With my uncontrolled rage.
I give it a tug,
I crave the control.
Enacting a shrug,
I tug and I pull.
I've given it life,
I can take it away.
In spite of my strife,
It's now back on display.

Of sound mind
Of sound body
Of what sound do I hear
That draws me to this place
