skin the citrus off the husk
and stain your hands
with the tangy sap
with hands around my throat
let me **** the orange
off your bones
peel an orange for me
and i will never love you more
split it
half ways
like sticky stringy thighs
let me drown
on orange juice

When I see RED a-top of rainbow, I think of the promise made to self of moving with beating heart inside my own divinity.

As I look at ORANGE, streaming cross sky
I think about being optimistic, as I move
to celebrate day.

When I gaze at the YELLOW that mirrors sun, I feel energized and warm from singing birds who whisper compassion.

As I see GREEN, deeply I breath to find open field of dreams ready for harvested inside the magic of moment.

When I observe BLUE, before eyes my consciousness expands to move as if sky is a dance floor and I am graceful cloud.

As I see PURPLE, a beautiful flower opens, and I become bee singing with love inside natures music.

And when PINK in child-like mind, is visualized choose to echo gratitude for the gift of life.
saw some you tubes of color and this poem sprouted. :)

I am seeing the colours
Mixing and blending
Without outline
All lines blurred
I can't see you
Red, orange and blue.
Resplendent tall tree
Beauteous ripe orange leaves
Bare brown twigs and bark
A picture shared by my cousin,
(Sparkle in wisdom)
It is a beautiful tree full of orange coloured leaves( Nov10th) and goes all bare on Nov(24th)

orange dewdrops chase your tail
follow you oh so quietly
the stone fox creeps into your world
trails behind you ever so slightly

patiently
your message waits for you to pick up the phone
you need to know so you may reap what you have sown

you are never alone.

This wasn’t supposed to be
Nothing more than a normal day.
The next five years were gone
When you told me you couldn’t stay.
Then there it was, the silence we just couldn’t avoid,
Was here now.
Your speech is slurred, I look away,
It’s all fleeting now.

I notice the leaves.
I wish that they would stay orange and red.
I wish the crickets kept serenading through the night.
I wish the moment stayed for a while longer.
It’ll all be gone by winter.

A rushing fall breeze
It's only a bit chilly
And blows around leaves

Take a deep breath
Pumpkin, cinnamon, and warm spice
My face is rosy

Gray woolen mittens
Cover my freezing fingers
I made them myself

A perfect blue sky
Not a storm cloud in my sight
The air is so cold

The wind blows past me
The trees bang on my windows
A nice cup of tea

I sleep with blankets
So soft and cuddly
I dream of orange
The Great Pumpkin
lua Oct 2019
the sun awoke from its slumber
and rose
i watched it shower the land in mellow hues
and the rays of the sun tinged your skin an orange so deep
you could have been the sun incarnated
casting your light on the flesh of my bones
warming the frigid touch of my fingers

(and maybe i,

your moon)

when you kissed me
it felt as if i'd burn under your touch
as if i'd melt away with a meeting of our lips
and you tasted like fireworks
of all that sparked,
and burned brighter than anything in this world
a kind of sweetness;
a flavour i can't quite pinpoint
i can't seem to get enough of you

(an eclipse)

you're ethereal. divine
ever stunning, ever radiant
glittering brilliantly in the still dark sky
glowing
glowing like a god, a celestial being
and only the light of the sun can touch you.
i am the moon, you are the sun.
