"What are you thinking about?"
"You. Me. The world. Life. Happiness."
You smile and say "is that all?"
"You know me.
I think about everything.
What are you thinking about?"
"Well, I WAS worrying.
About bills. Insurance. Our health. The future.
But then you distracted me."
"And what are you thinking about now?"
"That I wish I had your optimism.
But for now, no more worrying. It's time to breathe.
I'm just glad to be here in this moment with you."

Little lily buds look at the sun
they smile and bloom
the morning begins so beautiful.

I worry about yesterday and tomorrow
keep missing out on now.

The more I see,
less I want to say
no longer want to stay.

The days get hotter and hotter
this budding cruel summer
I cannot enjoy the simple flowers
this bed has become my world.

I am tired when I sleep
fatigued awake
I need fresh oxygen to breathe
I've become living bone
all alone

It feels like we are in a movie.
A disaster one.
Everyone is dying and we don’t know who’s next.
However, some can already predict it.

The only difference between a disaster movie and of what’s going on in the world now is that we can do something.
We can help the people who are evidently in need.

WE CAN DO THIS.
LET’S START NOW.

You were now in the past
and will now be in the future
and it too, as all things must,
shall come to pass.

Consequently,
life was now,
shaping the immediate and distant future,
viewed through the lens that is
the cumulative past.

Change now will have written a past,
one which will neither need nor want rewriting,
facilitating a fantastic future,
free from the need to be reshaped.
Important things to ponder à la Jordan Peterson:

What incredibly stupid things are you doing that are stopping you from doing what you already know you need to?

What are the consequences if you do not stop doing those "shooting myself in the foot" kind of things?

What does your life look like if you do stop doing those things and actually get after the things you know you need to do to progress in life?

Ok, great, now that you know the answers, how are you going to go about implementing these changes in small and manageable increments?

Then is Now.
Now was Then.
Now is Here

and will never be There,
for There will be another Now
and This Now will no longer be Here,

for it will have become Was
and what Was
can never again Be.

So, Be Then in the Now,
for it is the only Now you have
and the only Now you know,

the only Now that matters
before it too becomes a Now that Was
and will never again Be.

Now
It’s time to forget
Everything u wanted
Maybe
Who know
You and me stay together after all this things
After all this pain

Oh, I love you
I love you the way you hurt me
And say goodbye
In every time

Now
I love you but I love the pain you cause me the most

Make me love you more then I loved me
More then I loved every criature

Now
You leave me
With my pain

And now
I think I love the pain more than you.

moments made decisions
most forevers would never finish
giving intention the gravity to fall into happening,
engraving definition into seconds with no position on what should take place on
the face of a body constantly passing

we split moments open to see When it was holding;
we discovered years silently composing the brief harmony of here
and fresh bodies of before decomposing into the soil of soon
to bloom into now’s
and then into then’s we try to keep from remember when?

we split moments open to see how it was molded;
we found that the nectar spewing in youth
underwent high temperatures of emotion,
leaving beads of this thick honey hardened by
sentiment sweet enough to taint the taste of history.

we split moments open to try to keep what was only loaned to us;
each autopsy, a reminiscent attempt
to save what time grows and age molds into retrospect;
as we find ourselves rubbing out juice spilled onto the carpet,
we think of hours we wanted to be ours that went sour like this stain noticed too late;
with an ache to go back and back pain,
we wondered if we could convalesce in the sweet consequence
of a time with no intent to heal the feelings we bled;
we were convinced these moments would not be short-lived,
but it was
a feeling that let itself be held in a moment
knowing forever would never hold it.

she stops at a plateau.
everywhere she looks, she sees
distinct memories from her past.
to the left are cotton candy skies,
fields of rainbow gumdrops.
straight ahead are the ruins,
ash and tar darkening the land.
to the right are serene clouds
paired with flashes of lightning.
she's not sure if there are
mountains or valleys ahead,
but after seeing her past,
and who she is now,
she's ready to continue her journey.
