if you want we could
go for a movie or
or something because I
well I saw you once
with your
the way you held the flower in your hands
after whats-his-face asked you to prom last year
(was it a rose? I think it was)
and you kind of
you did this thing that sort of looked
well it reminded me of it's a wonderful life
you know that, um
the Christmas one
well your eyes looked like that movie
I know that's crazy
but that's the only way I can say it, ******
we all know him

A rule of acting:
"Real people lose."
They don't cross everything off the list.
Trophies, good days, and money
require a sacrifice of comfort
somehow already deceased.
It's a slow, steady process.
A long and sometimes plotless movie.
(By the way,
you know who will be talking to themselves
at the end.)

Lonely can be the plight of the English major
languishing in a lexicon of terms and forms
dreams and schemes
witticisms and imaginings
with that lushness of loquacity
whereby  sonnets and rhymes are adorned
symbols and signs are reformed
where mellifluous speech is ascribed an eloquence
transcribed and renewed
and the heralding voices of angels appear
preceded by an  aperture of magnificent hues

*I will always be in love with you
our lives are not our own
from womb to tomb
we are bound to others
past and present
and by each crime
and by every kindness
we birth our future

She knelt and she pleaded
For a world of peace
She knelt and she pleaded
To save a friend in need

She fought for what is right
While giving all her power and might
Yet there's still the anger
Gripping her tight

It hurt her
To see how her world is fooled
By a prideful man
Who continues the feud

She has accepted the offer
Of death itself
For she knows who she is

And she is the **Mockingjay
Bc I love the movie <3

Please.
I begged you not to.
So many times.
But darling, so stubborn,
So naive, like a movie,
A romantic comedy,
You fell in love with me.

They weren’t ready to commit
but they didn’t wanna lose each other
Tighter than brother and sister
Loved like a married couple
Yet they still wanted options

Frustrating is it…
When the one you want
Wants you
Yet still wants others
Just in case their wanting in you
Becomes wanting someone else
It’s a fairy tale gone wrong
Or a fairy tale turned reality

Love is never certain
But neither is life
Take chances
Or risk the chance of losing who you love
But complacency is contagious
We figure they won’t go anywhere
Yet their bags are already packed

They’re just waiting for a sign from us
One small sign..
To get up and go
And never come back…

If our world ends in a year,
will we cling to our stubbornness?

Can humanity think more than ourselves,
and think about the greater good?

If you had to leave your family to save humanity,
will you leave your daughter, father, son, wife or any of your ilk to voyage into the stars for new home?

With the dying of our planet caused by humanity,
are we going to sacrifice everything so we could find a place like earth?

Human beings always seems to push our boundaries,
and our next voyage will be the stars!

If global warming destroys the world in a year,
will we stand vigilant in the coming tide,
and willing to allow the better of us to progress humanity?
So many thoughts crossed my mind as I watched the movie "Interstellar,"
with lot of profound questions, and emotional scenes to play on many ideals.
I am mused by what I can't seem to describe, and still trying to find clarity in such touching cinema.   Nothing in life is so simple, and sometimes our choices aren't good or bad, but picking the lesser of the two evil. Without spoiling anything, I encourage everyone to see without any expectation, or preconceived notions.

Just take a voyage into a cinema of possibility, to the ideal of probability, even if the scene is imaginary!

I love you
But sometimes I look around
And I get the feeling that
I should love you
Like people do in movies
Or in books.
But then I become alive
And I feel that it would be a cliché
So I love like lovers love each other in poems

I want to take you on cute dates
Like in the indie movies
A picnic on the roof of a building
With Christmas lights and mason jars
I'll keep you warm against the night air
And I'll always protect you
The sun will begin to rise
And I won't watch
A sun rise is nothing compared to you
Another day with you is another blessing
I'll never forget that
And I'll never forget to tell you how much I love you
No matter how long we are together
I could make a movie just about your eyes
All we are missing is a flower crown

The two embrace each other for the last time, the man lets go and starts to walk away. She looks upon him as he's slowly drifting further and further.

Girl: "This is real life! This is not a game, you think it's some sort of romance from a movie or something!"

The man stops dead in his tracks and slowly turns around to face her.*

Man: "This love of ours can be just like a movie, if you let it be..."
Just let it be...
