Swirling morning mist, draws abstract patterns of love
moving sprightly,  between golden rays of sun,
prattling  breeze and other manifestations winter presents,
green grass on the meadow looks like a dew studded carpet
pussyfooting rabbits, lick dew drops in a hurry and run back
to the warmth of their burrows, to sleep for some more time.

Sun, the nourisher eternal of the world , don't hide anymore
come out, peep above the crowd of sleepy grey old clouds,
looking grumpy, ill mannered and winter arrogant to the core,
don't like their attitude a bit, come out blow your trumpet of warmth
make the drooping wet birds, dry, fly up to the sky with a happy cry
sing songs of joy, warm the hearts, drive the winter gloom out.

Walking through the rainy streets.
Puddles filled with muddy waters
Waters that don't reflect anything but happiness
Setting out paper boats again
Dancing like no one watched
And frankly, we didn't even care
And the smokes and the mist
Galaxies formed somewhere here on Earth today.

whispering silken mist, delicate sighs
tiny falling droplets of mountain dew,
the diamonds from my teary eyes
are sprinkling showers of crystal blue

Two places as one,
Condensation mirrors both,
Heavens upon earth .
Mist on a cloudy day both white which is ground which is air

Neanderthal thoughts,
Grasp hardened, knuckles release,
Brutalities mist.
Domestic violence is Neanderthal in reasoning..

What’s in the mist?
What is so deep?
Madness? Maybe?
Strangeness? Samy.

The trees flee towards me
The mist rolls in
Their desperate swaying
Drowning displaying

The wind breaks in
Charge of the bright belayed
And the mist departs
The cloud free of hearts

I inhale and hold my breath until I see black-
blank spots in my vision.
I exhale and release
beautiful, long-limbed clouds of smoke.
Shrouding my face, covering my eyes
blinding me to everything
but these pale tendrils
fluid and simple

curling wisps of smoke
scar the air
scar the silence
and

all secrets lie in smoke
if i could read it, i would know
the world.

Mysterious, mist-kissed hills dismiss my dismal disdain
For Life’s strivings in the ivy wired mire.
Budding blossoms embrace my burgeoning bliss-filled *****,
As my soul soars into the seething skies.

My wings are beating with breathless wonder,
My imagination sends me to a destination
Beyond discrimination, defying appellation,
But not exclamation, at this elevation.

Smooth pools of cool blue hue contrast with cliffs
That overhang the huddled houses
Of the hillside village
On the way to who knows where.

The mists are shifting, ever drifting
Hiding everything
Except the mountain tops.
A new dimension might await us
Always moving as
Our journey never stops.

The people I meet
Seem like forgotten voices
In an old, long dream.
The sunlight on my skin
Seems like the faraway light
Of a ship disappearing at sea.

But the clouds, the clouds float by
Suspended chaos amidst the trees.
'Neath my torn feet, swirling grey and white
The mist has no form; shapeless, like me
If only, if only...

Trapped in a world
not my own.
Lost
desperate to find my way home.

How have I fallen?
These secrets
now haunt me.

Paralyzed, shut out from you,
I am alone
captivated by my temptations.
This feeling is breaking me
crushing my lungs
so that I cannot breathe.

The harder I scream
the more I alone I am.

I call out “ Save me!
for I am lost,
rescue me from this night
take me away from these fears
break these chains that now bind me.”

And then in the ******
of the tempest.
When the waves
were higher than my head.
When I felt the water envelope my lungs
when all I knew was gone
and I had realized how lost I was.

Your voice alone
reached out from the mist.
Brought clarity to the shroud
and found this broken soul.

You were all that I had
all that I held on too.

What love is this?
that you would reach down
and save me
who once was so dearly lost.
