speech on mercy
sleeping in New Jersey
or maybe
Chelsea
reading peace verses
no natives, no war
no nurses
dictating democracy
how sweet
thanks to the geography

You got me so drunk
I forgot what a hangover was.
Twisted lies,
and the devils eyes.
In between the happiness,
is what I call hate.
Unlike what you might think,
it's what made me want you
in the first place.
I crave a drop of you and your face
now and then
when I'm not really thirsty.
I search for mercy
wrapping myself in the sky,
going to bed,
planning what I might do
when you let me drink again
the next time I see you.

Can I run into you and you not break. Would you be able to withstand the whirlwind that is me? I am broken beyond my own repair shattered in a millon pieces not even ***** could put me back together. I'm lost not like on the GPS where you can miss the turn and make a different turn, all the streets are one way. I'm fighting to hold on to my sanity struggling to remeber why I'm even here. And then I realize, it's not for me to understand but believe and trust in the one who's skin was torn for me so when I'm torn between decision I understand where my help comes from. I will point to the hills and go all the way up.
Believe in Someone bigger than you, trust in Someone stronger than you.

It is nights like these,
When I stand and look out at everything,
That I know neither moderation or mercy.
What am I to do when the stars painted on the ceiling tell me that I Control every game and every play made?
What am I to do when the neon lights on the slot machines tell me
That I am the house, and I always win?
Resistance is unbecoming,
And I can't just ignore what the they tell me.
So I slip my legs over the balcony railing,
Watching and waiting for my time.
All the while,
I feel no sympathy
And I regret no choices,
For, tonight, I do not care about mercy.
No one will be spared.

The mercy of God
saved him from
the world.

With his alleged
****** birth
flesh from
light and darkness
mixed in a
good and evil
conflict.

Flesh and meat
eaten.
A member
to pluck fruit.
Wicked lost souls
belonged to
the lower order.

You stay low to the ground
Afraid to move, to make a sound
Why let gravity pull you down?
Look behind you my dear...

You have wings

Wings of mercy that can carry you high
Over burdens, like dark clouds in the sky
Tell me, haven't you always longed to fly?
Just look my dear, you have wings

Once you take flight you will finally see light
The darkness is real, but there's no need to fright
The Son will surely destroy the dark night
He gave you your wings
So take courage
Take flight!
God's forgiveness lifts our burden of sin and gives us wings of mercy

Mercy came to me
like the answer to my prayer
As I live every day
on borrowed time.

Do you know of such value,
O fellow mere mortals?
Judgment postponed
Death delayed
Life blessed
Grace given
Forgiveness bestowed.

Mercy came to me
by the means of a friend
the answer to my prayer
who prayed for me

As I stirred on
to seek
the deep wonders
of God.

I whispered and sighed,
"How can this be?"
I screamed and cried out
in the wilderness
beholding in awe
glory, majesty
wrath.

Still, mercy came to me
like the sweet answer
to my prayer
consoling and attending
to all my dreaded fears.

Mercy came to me
in the likes of a Person
who loved me and
gave Himself for me.

And now I live
on borrowed time
making the most of every
opportunity while my
judgement is postponed,
death is delayed,
life blessed,
grace given,
forgiveness bestowed.

In time, mercy comes to me
and now I freely give
as I have been given.
Pondering upon the great mercy of God!
