I can see stars twinkling in your eyes
the moon illuminating your darkest part
the sun shining brightly
and the whole universe
every time you look at

her.
And I am here hoping for nothing

When crossing roads look.
Look left, look right.
When kissing your lover,
don't look. Stay blind.

Every day that shines
down the sun
I wonder what has it to hide.
In the end, it only dips
down into the deep night.

I've been looking around
counting day after day.
Now years went by
countless things I see
pretty much all things.
But what’s in the hide?

Tell me where?
If you know the way.
I am been skipped
I see me not
looking with my eyes!

It's been a month and a half
Since my eyes laid on you last
At first you're nothing much
No hard abs or glowy tan
But you grow on my vision
The more I stare
I wonder how you would look
Standing not as far as over there

He looked at me in French...
with those sultry eyes
and pouty lips.

He was a villain I tell you
a curse!
To read my old conversations...
That are long now passed,
It is both more, and less jarring than I expected it to be.

I am taken aback,
Not because I am taken back,
But only due to the sharp and nigh painful retrospect of our mistakes.
How differently I wish I did anything,
Not because I wish I still had you,
But, because I am disappointed in myself for not living up to my own values...
Blinded by the blind, blind love I was in.

Retrospect and nostalgia may be similar,
In fact...
They're either edge of the same sword.
And both edges can make you bleed

She looks at me
wide-eyed and confused,
This can’t be me
She looks worn and used.

The tiny red dots
form a pattern on her face,
She looks back at me and
whispers, “You’re a disgrace.”

You’ll always be alone
You’ll never be free,
Free from this psychic garbage
That no one else can see.

Free from the chains you’ve built,
from the leash they cannot see,
Free from this sadness
and free from me.

And as I look at her, she starts to laugh
and put thoughts into my head.
“You know you don’t deserve to breathe.”
“You know you should be dead.”

You see, these thoughts do not come from me.
It’s not what I want to think.
But they’re from the girl inside of me,
And she’s all that I can see

Looking at the world with new eyes,
today, when I left my home,
I saw a group of geese, flying
in unbelievable symmetry,
with tremendous grace,

My eyes were free of their dirt,
they were clean and beautiful,
and had the capacity to love
whoever they set themselves upon.
And maybe, I was gifted this scene
by god, for the love in my eyes...
