You believe in what people say
In the lies they feed you
In the stories they exaggerate
You assume my people are bad people
And will do me wrong
But the only person that might be doing me wrong all this while
Could have been you
All along
I trust you
I look up to you
But your constant demands
Your perfect executions
Are completely ridiculous
I won't give in
I will be me
Whether you like it or not

one night
the other day

one dark
the other light

one cold
the other warm

.the sun & the moon fell in love.

they couldn't kiss
nor meet

they couldn't touch
nor speak

they peeked at each other
from a distance, so havoc won't wreak

they lived for a promise
that when life decides to compromise

.they too shall meet.

for the first time
and last

while stars conspire
and worlds collide

.they lived apart only to die together.

Ineffable Soul Apr 2018
As the sun sets,
It gently caresses her face
And her freckles,
Mimic stars
With plenty of zodiacs to trace
All the while,
Her eyes entwine into galaxies
Infinite stories in place

And all I want to do
Is just stare in awe
Wonderstruck,
Sensing each and every heart beat race
No description can ever do justice.

the first time i saw her stretch marks i
saw beauty as a landscape formed,
lightning collapsed on her earth
captured by my lavender mind
i painted cosmic energy on
her body, oil on canvas ii
created a portrait my
fingertip a brush as
i drew a valley of
a thousand hills
on her fragile
temple.

Reflections once blossomed
                   but ideals were cadavers
                                             entombed
in thorns of serrated ethics
                                     now void less.

But streams had dried up
                              leaving echoes
                of rouge images
showing like imperfections emaciated.

Even though a collection once
                           blossoming now vacant.
                   Nothing fades but leaves
seeds of contemplation, to grow again.

It's official, we're monsters
We're disgraces, we're abominations
We're ****, we're dirt
We're apart of a ***** and evil congregation

We've been so cruel
They've judged us just because our skin is ashen
They've persecuted themselves, stabbed each others back, turned each other into ashes
Hearts have become nothing but beating organs that pump evil into our veins
Brains have been blocked out and replaced by things that just produce shame

Thinking that we're the superior species, but that's absurd
We run like zebras to **** like lions then scavenge like vultures and feed off each others carcases
To think that we were created in God's image, the idea hurts
Cause God's image is turning into Satan's minions, into his children and we blindly walk into our own Tartarus

And don't get me started on the laws of the land we don't even take care of
Telling me about the right to freedom to help you paint the idea of the right freedom

You **** in order to gain, and that process goes on and on and on
From the early days, all we do is take and the process goes on and on and on

I hate the way they look at her beauty and can't fight for it
Just take her and have fun, a whole night of it
I hate the way you so quick to hate and so quick to **** my vibe
And the fact you like it, you love it, when you've got stolen stacks instead of working for a truthful dime

Screaming "I'm just human" has made me realize
That it just disgraces the title if we pin it to a crime
Let's not lie to ourselves any longer
We're humans, and humans have proved that that means being imperfect people, but perfect little monsters

You have dark circles under your sunken eyes
You’re beautiful
You have pimples on your face
You’re beautiful
You are black, brown or white
You’re beautiful
You have scars on your body
You are beautiful
You have chapped and dry lips
You’re beautiful
You have overgrown eyebrows
You’re beautiful
The shape of your nose isn’t perfect
You’re beautiful
You have chubby cheeks and love handle
You’re beautiful
You ain’t beautiful
Despite of your flaws
But you’re beautiful
Because of them
Perfect with your imperfections
You’re beautiful
know how obsessed we women're about looking prim and proper before leaving the house, sitting for hours in front of the mirror applying those silly beauty products in order to hide our flaws. We truly believe that it can fix all our insecurities. Even I have to wipe make up from my mom's face whenever she overdoes it and trust me I just love doing that though it annoys her a bit. Little does she know how beautiful she looks even without her foundation or mascara
Thankfully I never got into that stuff

She looks at you and see's all that you can be
So much beauty in his pain
She can see right into your soul
Eyes piercing deep into the depths of it all
She see's all your flaws and still loves every broken fragile piece of your frame
But she too is broken...
When you look in the mirror you see her reflection staring back at you
Reflections of your future
Though you both are broken
You both mesh together to make this torn beautiful symphony
Our imperfections is what makes us perfect together
Today
I have everything
Tomorrow
Maybe
A little less

And
Then
Something

But
Always hope
To hold on to
One thing
Being
