When we met everything was incredible
Nothing ever stays the same
Loved ones always change over time
We have only ourselves to blame

It is never easy to move on
Never simple to let go
It is hard to give you up because
You are the only guy I really know

It hurts so bad I cannot even explain
How worthlessly empty you make me feel
I want to wake up tomorrow
And find out none of this is real
I read this and can now see the subtle hints that this was not true love at least now how I've come to know it six years after writing this.

I don't understand
Because it's just not fair
I work so hard all the time
And there is so much stress for me
Constantly studying
Staying up late to do homework
That high schoolers do
And yet they seem upset when I get a B
And brush off all my A+
My sister get's a C and a pat on the head
Now can someone explain that to me?
Don't take this the wrong way; my parents love me and are proud of me, but I wish my work would really be appreciated...

I have no reason to be sad.
I have food on my table,
I live in a luxurious stable,
I’m not disabled nor financially unstable.
Everything I want, I had.
So please explain to me how I went all bad?

If I ever were to try
and explain to someone
how much I loved you
I think they would be heartbroken too

Speak like it's never been
Spoken
Explain like it's never been
Noticed
Feel as our hearts never connected
As one
Love like it's never been
Lost

Today was my last day of school for my sophomore year of high school. A lot of people hate school, don't think its cool or just really don't care. That's not the case for me, to conclude, school has helped my life tremendously.

I'm currently 16 years old, and three and a half years ago I was homeless and using drugs on the streets of my hometown of Dallas, Texas. These three years I have completely turned my life around; everything I got from the streets, I left there when my grandmother took me in. From then on I lived in Richmond, Maine and still do.

In my time of being homeless, I was also not attending school for my 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade year. Without that knowledge I would've learned, It set me back in my education. This should explain to you why I am truly proud of myself for making it this far in high school.

Next year I will be a junior, and taking a course to be a certified nurses assistant which means I will graduate with a guaranteed job, thanks to the amazing school I attend.

I felt I should document this moment In my Hellopoetry account, but also felt the need to publish it if anyone just wanted to read. Don't give up guys, we are so capable of anything we want to do.

Could you believe me?
I try to never lie,
I am just not ready
To give up and say goodbye.

You act like you hate me,
But I am so confused,
I do not know what I did,
To cause you to feel used.

I am sitting in Math,
Thinking about me and you,
Figuring out how to fix your heart,
I have no clue what to do.

I have asked everyone,
Why you're upset and mad,
But they do not know,
Help me stop you from being sad.

Please will you explain why
You suddenly want to go?
Ease this constant pain inside,
The heartache concealed below.

I take a knot inside my head
Out to see what’s left instead
A jumble of words
And tied-up thoughts,
But to know what’s there
Is all for naught

For only I can truly see
What the world
Could really be
In my vast imagination.

It’s a pain
It really is
To see the beauty up in there
Wrapped up in confusion’s stare
And unable to explain.

All the knots inside my brain
Will always there remain,
For I, a simple dreamer, fair
May never get the chance to share.
I can never fully put my thoughts and imaginings into perfect sense, the way that I think of and see them, so they remain jumbles of string inside my head
