Open your eyes, little child
It's no longer dark, can you feel the Sun?
Should I bring it down so you can hold it in your arms?
If it sounds good, give me a light nod

Can you hear that? Space is calling.
Come with me, we'll build a spaceship
Hold my hand close and don't drop it
Let's take it to the Moon or wherever you feel is cool

Hold your breath a little longer
Isn't the spacesuit the coolest thing, hm?
It's time to let go of the world and it's unspoken words
Let the people who made you sad stay
So, what do you say?

You'll be surprised to know
It's all vip for you
There's never-ending pixie dust
And everything you desire
Just close your eyes and picture it for me.

Woooh... The road's a bit shaky
But that's part of the takeoff
Would you like a hug?
It's good to know we'll only go up

Will you be surprised to know,
That I'm not much smarter than you
I might be a hero for you but I'm weak for me
Younger me, please love me and I'll love you too

Closed my eyes and i can feel you.
Open your eyes, little child.
a poem for our younger selves...

Family
Is what they all say
Importance, dignity, faith

Family
Is what they provide for us
But what if that's not what I wanna discuss

I wanna feel all that love and emotion
I wanna belong not to be cautious

Don't you say something wrong
Or else they'll treat you like a dog
Don't you dare to make a wrong move
Cause they'll always find you accused

Of selfishness and pure indignity
And so they'll never let you be
The girl you wish so much to leave

You'll forever be stuck behind
In a dark room inside your mind
Locked in a cage
With walls, not even imagination can change

And you sit, and you wait
For you to find an escape
You wait and you wait
Until you realize you were the bait
Of hatred and pure anger
Not even you can handle
I need an escape
As you reflect on a promise of tender hands; tiny
tremors shake your will to hold yourself together-
Tethering lines of kisses guiding your eyes to a moon
as you are a bright smile of the day, and the cool
whisper of hope late by noon

We’ve been lost in the yesterday of a garden filled with
flowers, that grow brighter as I look at their hues- I’m giving
my affection by an attention to pick at some petals: darling we
Both grew into something special; through a dream bending
my will to ever say no to you

Sometimes I get it wrong- especially when it comes to the
unspoken language of your eyes, daring deep inside my soul
when we’re alone to our own thoughts on this long drive home
My aim was a bit off, off into the places I think helps me better
into seeing your pain- but I can’t read your brain, measure any
of your griefs, or attest to being able to share all that you have
experienced

Still, I can offer my very dreams as an escape

Why do we put poison in our minds?
The way we cling to false hope,
The way we watch the TV until we go blind.
Maybe we want to be blind to all that
happens in the world.
Maybe we want to turn blind to our own
sorrow,
So that we don't drown all together.
Why do we put poison in our bodies?
The way we drink until three a.m.,
The way our fingertips burn as we hold the
cigarette that will eventually burn our
bodies, burn our souls.
The clouds of smoke covering our guilt.
Why do we do anything wrong when we
know what we are doing is wrong?
Has the world not been cruel enough that
we inflict pain upon ourselves?
It is an escape, everything really.
Long nights where a cigarette and a glass
of whiskey becomes our lifeline.
Days when we stare off into space.
Lost in a universe we create in our minds,
Or even worse, when we put on that
obnoxious fake smile.
Loneliness eats away our souls, almost
drags us to hell.
Maybe it isn't an escape rather the last trial
that we all suffer together as we share this
big secret and secretly waste away our
lives in moments of solitude.
Moments of solitude we all need,
Not to feel everything but to forget that we
exist and so does our pain, grief, greed,
hatred, hunger, anger and ambition.
Why do we feel the need to die alone?
Why can't we just be?
Everyday I undergo my trial and enjoy the
last supper alone before I sleep,
Hoping and waiting for life.
Because all I ever do is escape.
An ode to humanity's inherent insanity

****, bruh! call a bo[ɑ]mb squa[ɑ]d
'cause she's a bomb—

unholy, wro[ɑ]ng thou[ɑ]ght
reminds him of a jihadi-done job
'cause this ***'s (boom) banging; this honey's dancing
boldly & lewdly, got his ja[ɑ]w dro[ɑ]pped
she's beyo[ɑ]nd "**[ɑ]t"

a haptic invasion
she moves on from wining to fondling, she's eager

she's none short o'... a mind-blower, like a gun-toter
blowing a brain of a nazissistic hound wrongdoing

My Dear Poet Sep 22
among all the fears there sleeps a bear
who’s paws are soft and hair is fair
afraid to wake and arouse a tear
there sleeps a mouse by claws so near
between the two there’s an open space
where chivalry and strength finds a place
among hope and a dream it will lay
till mice find courage and get away

Looking around myself
Searching for a familiar face,
But there's only me,
A loner searching for ways
To escape
kel Sep 18
i hope one day i can say this
to my other half-
everybody has their own story,
i just happen to find yours
more intriguing

just saying though,
it's not as if I can escape the curse
of singleness :>
