Falling in love is just like setting sail,
It takes real courage to board the ship.
The winds keep on blowing, they howl & wail,
The oceans are dark, mighty and deep.

Rough sailing has storms, dangerous streams...
So when you're ready to sail, stay bold!
Forget about tears, weakness or whims,
This ocean has already got too much salt

Being in love is like guiding the ship
Through storms and the lure of the depth,
Fighting the meddlesome jealousy grip,
Facing the elements’ wrath and the Death.

You’re sailing together, so just fight the cold
(Love’s dangerous waters will win by assault)
Keep doubts, bitten pride and ego on hold,
This ocean has already got too much salt!

No matter how the fire burns
How much the water swallows
How much the wind blows,
life will always find a way
to grow
short but sweet, hopefully.
Life always finds a way!
Be back soom!

The
      moon now
      floods the snow
       with a silvern
                                          kiss
In
a robe
the shade of
night trimmed with star
jewels

She
sails on
death's white mist
bathed in eldritch
                      days

                                                              Runs
                                                                upon
                                                               the open seas
                                                                of flame and ice
                                                               free

Sweet
musky
  rose from fields
    blooms from Milky
Ways
Five simple Lanterns of the fantastical element.
Words are so beautiful!
Be back soon!

Drop the lock
Gate's open
Go
NOW!
run, Run, RUN
Into the white
Into her sight
She's beautiful
Flash
Emerge, O child of mine
Spread your newly christened wings of glory
Flitter and flutter
To hither and yon
She'll adore your colors
She'll sing your song
Flash
Submerge, O tender heart
The deep is cold
But you'll catch your start
Free from those who try to gain
Free from all the surface pain
She waits at the bottom for you to stay
It's silent down here
But that's ok
Flash
She's right in front of you
She's fighting for you
She's waiting
She is singing
She shows you her colors
Her glorious vibrant colors
She is
She is
Go to her
Find her
Save her

They may use you
abuse you
slap you
kick you
shoot you
stab you
curse you
mock you
choke you
tear you

and at times,    defeat you
in that time a   n   d time alone
They may do   all    this because
they know you can reach the
heights, the impossible,
that they can only
dream of
but

they won't      ever destroy
you.    You        know       when to be
a tempest and     when       to be tranquil
You know when     to         be a flicker and
when to                     be                        a flame
When to shake the        earth and to sprout
they may put so much energy to see you
on your knees, vulnerable and weak,
but as long as you continue to
rise to your feet, they will
be blinded by the
light of your
glory.
Feeling a lil optimistic now. You know, I can say that there are ALOT
of people I can list now that really want to see me fail, friend and family.
Shame but at least I know who I can and can't trust. I'm on that level of
consciousness now. This is a poem dedicated to them.
To let them see me down is a victory to them.
But it'll always be hollow because I will have that strength
to get back up again.

If anyone is in need of more fire to their flame, I hope this poem is at least a drop of fuel / a piece of wood.

Be back soon!

Summer heat falls without prudence
Ornery and hot like the tip of a newly welded blade
Hilting into skin deep and unforgiving

There is hope in the day’s momentary flurry, when
The air carries wind like a light jacket

But even then
‘Tis only for
A spell

Little infant wrapped in blue
Don’t worry of danger coming to you.
Little infant with little eyes closed
I’ll make sure to the elements you are never exposed.

Little infant that cries at night
You never go out of my careful eyesight.
Little infant that wants mum and dad
I love you each day; don’t be quite so sad.

Little infant of bubbly joy
I’ll help you play with your favorite toy.
Little infant of smiling glee
Please stay so innocent and warm and happy.

Little infant that grows in the blink of an eye
I hope I’ll never have to say goodbye.
Little infant do promise that when you’re all grown
Do please make some infants of your very own.

I am the child of purification and destruction, wafting through the air, an omen.
Let me dust your lips and sting your eyes with my gentle caress.
Curl me around your fingers and stroke my tendrils in envy--
Alas, you can never hold me.
You can never capture my essence.

I am the product of scorched earth blending with broken promises.
Let me steal your truths from your tongue that you guard so carefully--
Wrap you up in my arms even though I fear smothering you with my kiss.
I wish I could hold you.
I wish I was more than this.

But I am just smoke.

.
Walk toward the North,
your foot falls on solid Earth,
be sure of your way.

Fly away off East,
you are floating on the Air,
be sure of your wings.

Take a trip down South,
you are playing with Fire,
be sure of your skills.

Swim far to the West,
the sun sets over calm Water,
be sure of your flow.

Stand within Yourself,
connect the inner Spirit,
be sure of all things.

Cobblestone,
Your eyes candlelit, blazing
I've lit a fire for you

Oh the fumbling of hands we share, here
The fumbling of elements many have felt
And I wonder if I am any different--

A trundled body of mistaken chemicals
Brash, raw--

Nevertheless
I wish to learn the angles
To love

A dinner date brimming with "immediate intimacy". Angel Olsen has some beautifully written lyrics. This song, California, speaks wonders about the initial feelings of a new love. Questioning the validity of those feelings, where they come from, and how they can carry you away into a dream.

"Who knows what it means to have a feeling buried so deep down?"
