through your coffee brown eyes
I forget how time flies

kissing your soft rosy lips
feels like a lunar eclipse

put your hands around my hips
‘cause I enjoy your gentle finger tips

your strong shoulders hold me tight
it’s where I feel home, where I’m alright

so stay with me for a while
‘cause I like your charming smile

and I forget how time flies
while I look into your coffee brown eyes.

Love is hard
to acquire and
Cupid requires a careful aim.
I know this
because my picture
wasn't blurry until you came
into the frame.

She is a little bit crazy, weird, unusual, and it is impossible to know what's going on in her head.

I always enjoy talking to her, but she always leaves me on read.

But besides all that I would compare her to a summer day.

I feel the warmth when I am around her, seeing her brings me joy.

It's like my first crush from middle school, I feel like a little boy.

I stumble my words when I talk to her, she twists my tongue so I slur.

She makes me nervous and I love it,  because I'm not afraid I must admit.

She is a pain in my ***, she likes to tease. But spending time with her is like a warm summer breeze.

I do what I can to make her see, I have strong feelings for this girl, I just hope she does for me.

If our love
had a sound,
it would be the sweetest song.
Tell me you hear the music-
the beat of our hearts
and our harmonies
intertwined.

Oh I’ve climbed the tallest mountain
I took the steps so slow
And at the top I looked around
At people down below.
The hustle and the bustle
The rushing in the snow
And knowing I was part of it
It kind of made me glow.

She led me
to her distant world,
a strange yet ethereal land.
I had never gazed upon
such beauty
all around me.
Was it heaven?
No, it was all her.

You planted your seeds
in my heart,
long ago.
What do I have to show for it?
A heart full of sunflowers.
Darling,
you are my spring.
Mitch Prax Mar 2020
you move like rain,
you move like the storm.
Sometimes soft,
sometimes heavy.
You end my droughts,
leaving a rainbow,
to clear my doubts,
in sun or in snow.

Kisses for you
for lunch and
for dinner-
for now
'til eternity.
