Let me explain this phenomenon
They seem to strike like a bolt of lightning
They shake the ground and the clap of thunder follows
It's so loud that it reverberates
and sends waves through the air
1204, 1234, 333
WHAT DO THEY MEAN?!
To me, safety. Comfort. Warmth. a "Hello" from someone I can't see
Are they just numbers? Or are they more
To me, a good omen. a Hug from above. a "Keep it up"
But, what if they aren't?
If so, I don't want to know.
I'll keep these numbers to myself,
for if they are merely that...numbers
I don't want to know.

Sweet dew days,
and violent delights.
I dare not look at the faults of our star
because they shine for us and us only!
Please, grace me.
Grace me with your smile.
Bless me with your touch.
Let me worship your body,
my holy grail chiselled from
starlight and moonlures and sunkisses.
For when our bodies are entwined in love,
for when two hearts meld to one,
all the murmurs of love done in the nights,
can be seen by our linked hands of day.
And I have no shame in that.
I must hold and shield the one
who quiets my heart, and confuses my soul.
For forever is a silver chain that binds us
by our ankles and no God can change that!
Come close...
You smell the salt of my tears...
So ******* soul upon my lips.
Love me fierce.
For you know what prospers when a fault
is forgiven.
Just posting this now as I saw a couple together in the park having a picnic.

The world is cruel;
ugly, pitiful.
It is turned so by man of nature.

Though, the world is the entire universe,
and the entire universe is so much more than those things.
If you think that way,
there is still much more for us to fathom.

After all,
we have not yet spent our whole life-time
seeing what the cosmos are here to show us.

— Y.H.

Cosmos,
gentle fervor.
Gently placate your enmity,
be patient.
For the storm in your mind
may only fog your vision.

. . . go out into the evening,
leaving your room, of which you know each bit,
your house is the last before the infinite, . . .
(from Rainer Maria Rilke's "Eingang", MacIntyre translation)

The light which strikes my retina
as I look at the Great Galaxy in Andromeda
left there two million years ago.
(Hominids made tools from stone then, but had not yet
    learned the use of fire.
Genetic material from certain of these hominids has been passed
from one being to another and now is in my own body.)

Millennia from now, humans who have
colonized the farthest reaches of our galaxy,
laboriously creating and maintaining Earth-like atmospheres,
will marvel that there once was a place so perfectly suited to
    human life
that such labor was unnecessary. (Just as we marvel that orchids,
whose precise temperature and humidity requirements would seem to necessitate a greenhouse, grow wild in the Amazon.)

I cannot believe in a personal God,
intervening in human affairs, but stand in awe
of the terrible force which set the stars and galaxies in motion
--strewing them like so much confetti--;
the life-force running through each living creature,
as straight and true as a ray of light from that galaxy in Andromeda,
willing us to live, grow and be fruitful.

Live a little
For the world wants you to die
Laugh a little
For the world wants you to cry
****** your share
For someone else is having your joy
Breathe fresh air
And don't let anyone treat you like a toy
Try new things
For the cosmos is full of variety
Choose if you want to
But no need to feel anxiety
Leave your world full of fantasies
And see the world for a while
You'll find darkness for sure
But in the end you will smile
Not because you'll get something funny
Because you’ll know
How to get bees out of honey
And then when you think
That you've seen infinity
The world will show you a new possibility
For this is how it works
And get things done
So always remember
There is a soothing moon for every burning sun......
Wrote this one for a depressed soul Nida and she thanked me enough for it.......

From the cliff's edge
you can watch the earth move.

Hover over the waters
and see how the Spirit blows

and broods.  The sea
and all its creatures still crash

and tumble and return
to their deep silences.

The sun rises and sinks
below the waves.  The curved

ocean clings to earth’s edge,
obedient, except where

something urges it upward.
The voice that calls

forth the mountains and summons
pelicans and wild geese

says to all things, Rise.
Consent to the upward urge

that calls you out of gravity
into the welter of heat and sound

and color that will not stay,
that you do not own, but may

have for a day, and then
for a night when it falls.

and suddenly the stars aligned,
when i found your gaze
and your soul met mine
only for you.
