I don't know much of religion,
But I want to.
I am not one to be perfect,
But I believe their is one who is.
I want to believe all is good.
I want their to be someone who loves me no matter what.
I love the feeling of letting me just put it all in someone else's hands.
He has to be real because I believe in him.
He has to be real because I can feel him saving me.
He has to be real because I can feel him covering me in bliss.
"Ignorance is bliss"
True words because I am calmed by the unknown,
While it frightens others.
Because I guess I just believe,
And just believing I guess is Faith.

my thumb
pushing down
on a lighter
is more calming
than a
small hand
holding said thumb
watching
anything burn
is more
entertaining
to me
than the
dancing flames

I'd love to say your smile is like the sun
Something that shines brighter then anything else
but
You aren't like the sun
You are a gentle giant unable do harm
You are the only reason I do not burn when surrounded by the world
You are the calming moon
You chill my bones and relieve the pain of the day
The night is so much better
So let me bathe in the moon light once more

I went to the lake and there I saw all the beauty and love that you had to give you held me tight and listened to my troubles keeping me safe and free from harm I could not have asked for a better night sitting with you under the twilight, I'm memorize by you beautiful ways your touching soul and your most annoying stare but that for me is all I could ask, spending many more nights under that stars on a bench beside the lake is the place I found my fate, the one true love that I could never forget so thank u for giving me that special night and especially for holding me tight.
First Time
K F Feb 2015
Aimlessly through cornfields flying
        quietly and simply listening,
to conversations
to music that's not mine
to laughing and memories being made.

Going no where but not minding.
Numbers fade from importance
and the dials behind the wheel don't matter.

Only the dirt, the road, the growing dark,
        no destination,
        no worries about going back.
Changing sky, and the people you just met
but are certain you can't forget.

Hovering
Delicately
Gently

Floating above the earth
Calming
Cleansing

A man
In black suit
With briefcase

Walks
Proudly through

A bicycle
A footbridge

All in this moment
Of beauty

Snow is falling outside my window
Snowflake by snowflake
I'm sitting in my room,
Looking out
Wishing I too was a snowflake
Falling and quickly melting away.
I imagine that maybe that is what love feels like
falling, melting, and then its gone.
It's short lived, but beautiful
While it lasts.

Inhale, Exhale, Repeat.
Close your bright eyes, they say too much.
Don’t speak, you can’t change anything.
Inhale, Exhale, Repeat. As if you are sleeping.

Stretch your body as far as you can.
Make it bigger, longer,
like you have spent your life in a smaller man’s coffin.

Be still.
Don’t blink, don’t part your trembling lips, don’t move your toe three quarters of an inch.
Be still.

Scream. LOUDER. Softer.
Scream as high as you can. Louder. You have to scream to save your life. SCREAM.

Stop.
Don’t Speak. You can’t change anything.

Look into your eyes in the mirror.
Keep looking, you can’t back down.
Don’t blink, keep looking.
Keep looking.

Blink. Blink again.
More. Faster.
Blink until you can’t see anything anymore
until you are blind

Stop.
Clench your fists. Grit your teeth. Flex your muscles.
Your arms, your legs, your toes.
Make your body tight.
Tight.
Tight.

Release.
Melt.
Collapse.
Be liquid.
Don’t speak, you can’t change anything.

Standing at my window with an aching in my chest
Looking out the window as the rain poured down
Pondering hard if I could withstand this test
Fixed in a lost gaze; in tearful helplessness I drown.

The raindrops burst as they fall and hit the ground
Into a million droplets merging back into a puddle
Like muffled drumming, chaotic yet calming is the sound
Spellbound by it's sight, so beautiful...so subtle.

My eyes grow weary but still I wish to witness
These glassy beads falling enchantingly from the sky
Hoping it'll wash away the miss and all of it's madness
Felt the moist in the wind as it kissed my cheeks dry.

This magic before me, I can stare upon all night
For I love it so, it brings the solace I so have craved
Much like my love, I'd gaze upon her till the break of light
Wishing I could tell her of the love I've saved...

The sea never stops
to explain that it’s constant pulsing is the only thing that keeps some people sane at night.

The sea never stops
to show mercy to those caught up in its depths, knowing what they were heading into from the start.

The sea never stops
to try and change its blazing ferocity to calm still. It is what it is, it exists for no one's pleasures.

The sea never stops
to bleed out its glistening cobalt and switch it to emerald, to gold or ruby.

The sea never stops
to ponder on it’s own vastness, to feel remorse for creatures whom dislike her embrace.

The sea never stops
her infinite journey

and neither should you.
