Your face may lack symmetry
but it was carved by the hands of angels
who loved you so much,
they made sure you were brought to this world
in the most beautiful way possible.

Your song, like the sound of heavenly harps,
rings through my ears night and day,
and I pray to God
and to the angels that made you,
I plead for their guidance,
because as the days pass
I fall deeper and deeper in love
with you.

The CAMERA that rolls behind a silent film,
Is most distinctly heard -
Lest what Angels gift the snowy valleys,
May mystify His every word.

lets talk about angels,
while our demons
nibble our souls !!
The devil's desire is to lure you from God
with his terrible tricks and his lies,
just like circumstance pulls me away
from the Heaven I see in your eyes.
Deceit filled my head; "He's a rebel,"
they said. "He's a monster, and worse yet,
a devil."
Yes, you don't fit the norm,
but I feel safe and warm
when your arms hold me tight.
The arms they warned would steal me at night.
And steal me they did on an evening so wild.
They cried out to you, "She's only a child."
They failed to see the truth of the matter,
continuing on with their idle chatter.
For in truth what you'd takes was rightfully yours.
I wasn't a captive locked behind iron doors.
I'd given myself to you with no hesitation,
just as you had offered yourself up with no reservation.
And you are no demon.
No, you are an angel.
In your eyes I've seen
the land of the faithful.
All their attempts at my evangelization
have only resulted in their own demonization.
I flee from them into the night,
where your arms hold me close and tight.
Their words are like chaff; the wind blows them away.
I no longer listen to the things that they say.
I will walk into the Promised Land,
but in my own way, we two hand in hand.

It can enrage the angels
Devils it can make serene
Most powerful creation
Anyone has ever seen

Peace in cruel hell
It's rhymes can create
It's emotions can bring
The heavens to hate
Poems are magical
Like an micarle morning,
Within its micarles,
Birds and Butterflies upon the fields,
Flying like an angels,

Sun shining,
Winds blowing,
Clouds busting,
to be the first micarle morning.

Evilness to be gone by God's miracles,
In his hands,
To make the morning be the first miracle.

when you believe in god, you see an micarle morning.

from the void
the mountain speaks
the beat goes on
in these desolate peaks

moss covered stacks
of sea floor and mantle
embrace and fold
in metamorphic tangle

stunted fir clings
graying roots exposed
a rocky, barren life
is all this sapling knows

snowcapped elderberry
scale the crevice
where bear and wind
make raucous passage

avalanche chutes
gracefully recline
in verdant shades
to the waterline

lie in the meadow
to calm the chatter
make still the noise
to blunt the clatter

upon the coming
of soft night
undress this silence
angel mine

*I came to a point where I needed solitude and just stop the machine of 'thinking' and 'enjoying' what they call 'living,' I just wanted to lie in the grass and look at the clouds.

-Jack Kerouac
Just got back from our annual fishing trip in the North Cascades of Washington state.  From a remote campground on the lake, one can hike steep Desolation Peak to the fire lookout where Jack Kerouac spent 63 days as a fire spotter in 1956.   His experiences there were inspiration for the classic "Desolation Angels".  My reference to "the void" arises from Kerouac's comment about the mountain looming largest in his view from the lookout - Mt. Hozomeen - which he described as "the void".   Little has changed since 1956, still remote, still amazingly beautiful.  I've yet to hike to the lookout (too busy catching rainbows, trout that is!) but it's on my "must do" list.

Rapidly headed in unknown directions,
no director,
just actors,
with good looks and bad intentions,

all hyped up,
everything lights up,
lights on mic’s on,
even the stagehand’s got a hype man so what’s up?

All the world’s a stage,
and that’s okay with me,
just make sure to adjust the lightening,
appropriately,

need some space to breathe,
need some space to see,
need some space to have the time I need,
to escape these stereotypes break out this cage and be free,

these preconceived notions from the public don’t make me,
and they only define me I am the negative of all they deny me,
in the public’s eye and that doesn’t really bother me,
I offer everything up for free except for apologies,

as we,
four wheel drive on this rough road,
a million directions to choose,
but only one place we can really go,

here we go,

rapidly headed in unknown directions,
no director,
just actors,
with good looks and bad intentions,

all hyped up,
everything’s lights up,
lights on mic’s on,
even the stagehand’s got a hype man so what’s up?

Like Shakespeare said...

see I wrote my pains plain because I know the struggles real well,
now the only shells I see are seashells,
now we pass the days surfing wave breaks no emails,
and all seems swell as we swim out when the sea swells.

Swimming in an ocean,
in a rainstorm,
lightening lights the liquid horizon, thunder cracks waves crash,
beautiful chaos,
within and without,
choppy waters commanding currents,
no definitive lines everything’s blurring.

She’s with me,
an angelic beauty,
fittingly,
from The City of Angels,
as am I,
we find,
we’ve found,
beautiful chaos in this ocean and these thunderous sounds...

Feeling lost
Heart is heavy
For you are free
Tears hold no levy

You struggle no more
Pain is lifted
Peace be with you
The spirits have gifted

Angels embrace
Their light will hold
You are a child
For them to hold

Friendship to cherish
A memory held dear
Love to be missed
To my heart you will be near

Always
