We are the lovers; we are a dying breed.
We trust in love and we truly believe.
We are the lovers and we know what we need;
We need romance to be real, so we can set our hearts free.


Go have your affairs; we will stick to one love.
One heart for one heart, ‘til death do us part.
You are the parasites with poisoned tongues;
Leave love to the lovers, because worthless is all the love you have

Leave the cheaters to be cheated out of an honest kind of love;

The end of love is a butterfly destroyed


My lust is in the bottle,
It’s sat there on the shelf.
My lust is too much for you,
So I must be by myself.


I need something amazing, to change my empty life;
I need to find a woman.  No; I need to find a wife.
I need something new, to replace the old;
I need someone blue, whose heart is cold.


I need what I know, pain and suffering;
Hurt me and lie you love me and I will give you a ring.
Keep happiness away from me please,
I don’t understand it, I don’t get it;
Please give me back my misery.


Loneliness; a lack of witnesses,
To the fading memory of this boys existence.
Suicide, is on my mind,
From nine to five and through unto nine.


I still wish I had your tender loving care,
But now I realize, that was never really there.
It was a lie you told me, to get what you needed,
So take everything from me; go ahead, be greedy.

Marriage


We should go on a date; I won’t be late.
Then you should go drinking with your mates.
Tell them to meet you at eight.
If that night you meet somebody else,
Then you decide you want to be with me,
We could maybe make it last six months,
If we are very lucky.


But if you get drunk and decide I am the one,
That you truly want to be with;
Then I will love you for a lifetime.
Maybe one day would could raise our kids,
To believe in love, just like we did…this time.


I only need one love;
That is all I am searching for.
There are many doors we could go through,
Many choices to make before,
I decide and you decide if we have found the truth.


I wish you all the best with your search;
I hope you find somebody who makes you feel loved.
I sincerely say I want you to be happy;
You uncertainly say, you would like a family, maybe.
I hope you find whatever you are searching for;
I want to find true love with you, for good.
I want a woman I adore.

Biblical Blues


Jesus Christ!  Are you my wife?
Or are you a single woman?
Surely you’re meant to be at my side,
Not off in search of another?


We used to hold each others hands, with such pride,
Now I wonder:  Do you even like me?
Are you Peter, or are you Judas the liar?
Would you deny my existence for your own benefit?


Or would you trade me in for 5 silver coins?
A new handbag, or a box of jewels.
Or would you say, with joy in your words,
I’m sorry but I’m married, so goodbye Sir.


Do you remember the wine I gave you, for our first anniversary?
I sacrificed my own simple pleasures, so I could save enough money.
And buy you the finest things I could afford,
All I could give you; still didn’t seem enough.


So here I hang on my cross awaiting my death,
I’d tell you I still love you, but I’d be wasting my breath.
My sacrifice, my ******* life!
Given up for you, the faithless type.


So goodbye now, I’m off to see God;
My father, my creator, my judge, my condemner.
The one to blame, for all I’ve had and lost,

How easy it is now for me to see,
How beautiful you and I could be.

Love is the best…


The best thing we as a species do,
Is that we fall in love.
We can make all the pieces fit together,
But without love there is no complete jigsaw.


You can have all the money in the world,
But money can’t buy my love.
My heart is not for sale, but I will give it away,
The day I realise I have met my lady-love.


She will be my reason to get in to or out of bed.
She will make me complete.
She will cure me and leave me without breath.
She will be the only one I can see.
If it is true love, she will always be the only one I truly need,
To help me in my hour of need;
To help me build a family.
To help me reach my dreams.


Love is the best thing we as a species do,
So I will wait for you.
Temporary comes and goes,
But I want permanent; that is all that I know.


From now until the very end,
No more time left to pretend.
No fiction, only fact;
I want a love that lasts.


Fear of commitment?
Deal with it, or leave.
Eyes for another?
Goodbye lover.

An illusion of perfect.


Have you ever met someone so **** cool,
That she makes you feel like such a tool?
You can aim for her heart,
But she is flying through stars
And she would never notice you.


Still you dream of what might have been,
If you learned to speak her language and knew what she means,
When she says she likes you.
You know she is nothing like you,
But hot ****! If I ain’t one mixed up dude.
She is a dudess, maybe the best you have ever met
And if she only took a chance on you,
Your love you would confess.


You know there is none better suited,
So when you see her you are all suited and booted,
Because this is pure bliss, love exists,
Inside a dream of her kiss.


But those words she never says,
Because there is no way she could ever be into someone so lame.
So you mosey on to the next love rendezvous.
You find a woman that you love
And she truly loves you too.
All the while the ******* discovers more.


Then late one night she comes a knocking on your door,
But there is no answer to a one time dancer,
Because your heart has passed those wishes to romance her
And no matter what she may say,
You ain’t no two-time chancer.
So she never gets to be with the one who would always have loved her.


Beauty comes and beauty goes;
I fall in love with the big-**** yo-yo’s,
Whose idea of love goes up and down,
Just like the bed springs that are broken now.


When love is good, up it will stay,
But when love is up to no good, I am left broken down
And my name remains the same…
Hers was never truly going to change.

A lack of love


I have become what I have become,
Because of her and her lack of love.
I need some compassion, for satisfaction;
But all I get in return for love,
Is a lack of action and a lack of attraction.


You are my shame, my one to blame;
I one I cannot afford to save.
I wish I could have been the one to make you happy,
But that was someone else’s job, some other day.


Today is for goodbye’s and no longer hello’s;
Now all we have left to do is go through the motions.
You smile as you hurt me and tell me what I already know;
I can’t smile as I destroy love, but I can go.


I gave you my love and you threw it back at me;
I was never good enough for you to stay true.
I took your love and your well was empty;
Your lack of love has left me down, but I am better off without you.
