When you walk with God

Everyday

is a testimony

to His love  and  grace.

We are neither boundaries or fields,
for both even though seem to be free,

keep us confided,
even though we don't realise it.

We may be able to walk afar,
but if we are stalled by others,

we are still prisoners
of a further field of consciousness.

As far as the eye sees
To the horizon and all around
Nothing but endless emptiness
I cannot go back for futility it’s not

The voice whispering within
This is the way walk in it
Not a sound, not a soul, not a wind
But all light, bright, silent and peace

The strangeness in my heart
I bear to the land beyond
Strange tongues surrounded me
Too long, too long, away from home

Renewed in every step
Refreshed by the stars
Strengthened in every breathe
And my food is my heart

As the blind sees not the stars
The prophet knows not the future
But only the assurance of the truth
Thus I walk the endless vastness
Blessed are those whose strength is in You,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
they make it a place of springs;
even the autumn rain covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength,
until each appears before God in Zion.

The flower on the sidewalk
was uprooted ...
planted in a garden

From the dusty road
to a safe haven

Winter
bloomed
as if it were the summer season

Where I have arrived,
is a story I long to tell

Take a slow walk, beloved
Enter the garden

Walking through the memories of mindlessness
Attempting to see what has been and not what will be
This is the understanding and awareness of historical events
Is this experience worthy of our amazement and discovery

Of course
We have to see what has been to prepare for what is yet to come...

Traveled many roads
Every direction I walk
Leads back to your arms
No matter what I do
I always come back to you

let's sit on top of the building
kiss under the lights of the city
look me in the eyes and tell me i'm pretty

take my hand and we'll walk along the edge
forget the day that we met
stay together no matter what we get

crowns of steel and headlights
we know we'll be alright
stay with me tonight

wind and hands in my hair
shining stars everywhere
running up the stairs

dancing on the fire escape
get it all on tape
buildings fade into blurry shapes

the simple folk surround me
the terribles astound me
i wonder which i am sometimes
and walk among the free
