Too many bottles of this wine we can't pronounce
Too many bowls of that green, no lucky charms
The maids come around too much
Parents ain't around enough
Too many joy rides in daddy's jaguar
Too many white lies and white lines
Super rich kids with nothing but loose ends
Super rich kids with nothing but fake friends

Start my day up on the roof
There's nothing like this type of view
Point the clicker at the tube
I prefer expensive news
New car, new girl
New ice, new glass
New watch, good times babe
It's good times, yeah
She wash my back three times a day
This shower head feels so amazing
We'll both be high, the help don't stare
They just walk by, they must don't care
A million one, a million two
A hundred more will never do

Real love, I'm searching for a real love
Real love, I'm searching for a real love
Oh, real love

Close your eyes for what you can't imagine, we are the xany gnashing
Caddy smashing, bratty ***, he mad, he snatched his daddy's Jag
And used the **** for batting practice, adamant and he thrashing
Purchasing ****** grams with half the hand of cash you handed
Panicking, patch me up, Pappy done latch keyed us
Toying with Raggy Anns and mammy done had enough
Brash as ****, breaching all these aqueducts; don't believe us
Treat us like we can't erupt, yup

We end our day up on the roof
I say I'll jump, I never do
But when I'm drunk I act a fool
Talking 'bout , do they sew wings on tailored suits
I'm on that ledge, she grabs my arm
She slaps my head
It's good times, yeah
Sleeve rips off, I slip, I fall
The market's down like 60 stories
And some don't end the way they should
My silver spoon has fed me good
A million one, a million cash
Close my eyes and feel the crash
Secret Poet Aug 2016
You and I and these beachy vibes.
Swaying like the palm trees in the wind.
The California breeze blowing through our hair as we stay here perfectly still. We build barriers from sand and shells, to protect this moment from all the stares.
I was iffy about posting this one.

Today, I will talk loudly
The thoughts are already shouting
Today, I will dust myself
The people are already doubting

No matter, I will conquer
For isn't my mind, my whole world
No matter, I'll comb my hair
Too late though, all has curled

I still anticipate glory in gore
I've to just make it through the night
Tomorrow too, I've to be my own muse
My mind is my only escape, can't keep it sore.

Everywhere I look these things exist
No matter where you are these things persist
Hardly ever noticed and sometimes taken for granted
But in very few places are they an antic
They don’t squeeze they don’t bind
If you are confined by one you are fine
Everyone has one believe it or not
But you and I are different because we do not
While they are stuck with nowhere to go
We are free and can only grow
With no limits we are freer than free
And because of this difference we are happy as can be
I think this is the second or third poem I ever wrote. It's not good at all but I tried being positive because the first one or two were dark. Picture frames were the inspiration to this one.

If in this life, you really do end up searching for hope –
be sure to not look too far, so at least you’ll know it’s within your reach.

On the seashore I stand
With my legs in the sand
There comes the waves
Wipe away my grieves
With positive vibes
Through the narrow veins
Touching me with a smile
Waving back to a mile !

It's not just music, it's a vibe
And when that bass drops, we come alive
With the synth and the snare
We are all transported there
Our minds are in the DJ's hands
Our bodies are slave to his beats demands
This is our one true escape
And it's entwined with his soul into a mixtape.

When summer comes
I hope the sun shines bright
I hope I have lazy days out and with friends long memorable nights

I wish for finally breaking my self crafted mold
I don't want to die old crusty and alone
I hope I can find the boldness that only hot weather and small bikinis can bring

When summer comes to Chicago
I hope my city can act right
With another Stanley Cup  (hopefully!) To celebrate, I hope my summer is bright
A hopeful summer for me!

This feeling of enjoying the moment:* think of a song you jammed to by yourself for a long time; and you catch the vibes[1] of the song. You feel like you're a part of that moment;

Like staring at pictures that magically caught all your favorite memories in life. That's you enjoying the moment. Now apply those actions to *
*this moment.

be present.
