Darkness Apr 2016
Eating breakfast on a strange star
way up in the sky
Baconian, egg-less and toasty creatures
passing by

Waving at me
four arms four hands
avoiding crumbs
while dancing to joyful one-man bands

Painting Cezanne's masterpieces
with van Gogh like skill
painting purple geese
and showing off until

I woke up hot
looking like hell
cursed my way down to my mademoiselle

Apologised to her in rapid succesion
got on my seat and called me a connection, waitress;
told her my **** breakfast was tasteless

Looked up at her hands and noticed some things
she was wearing some great tiny shiny gold rings
that wasn't that much strange but i noticed something else

She had twenty fingers
and four ******* hands
'crazy', i thought, all by myself

Woke up again
but in rapid succesion
and glad to find my girlfriend
waiting in vain

All is vanity*

Denied, all under a veil of secrecy,
Big waves that are hidden in the
Darkness of night, still turn boats,
Capsized by the enormous vast
Presence that no one sees but still
In essence we feel we're "safer," guided
By the way of the darkest truths light.

It controls each person, to hide unique
Truths with our own vague, hidden lie,
Make sure we all know it's there,
My how we stumble upon the nail
In the dark, whilst cleaning our visible
Skins surface of debris. It's all you see,
The "devil" is that cessation of this pain,
This suffering foot that bleeds.

You turn the corner and find yourself
Unawares in the darkness of this light,
Hidden underneath your cotton enclosure,
It will lead you in "earnest," it will show you the way,
It will empty your purse of quarters, it will make
Sure the suns light can never find you in the fullness of
Natures own "un-important" borders.

Whatever has been Divinely said and done is never in vain
because it has a higher purpose which results in our gain.

Would you attend a half-time funeral
Near the oak and pine branch at the cemetery,
Floral bouquet in hand, the last stand,
For the fool who dazzled in the light
Of dark, sorting through old newspapers,
Cigar in their mouth, unseen by such
That they remained happily in front of
Live TV watching the 7:00 news, amuse,
A vague smile, broken down besides
The window pane of a thousand tomorrows
Yet to come that never will. You will see them
All come, when they finally reach you at full
Speed, to end, to the same place you already
Arrived at in the light, and found the truth
Is not anything mystical or a fateful message,
It's ironically simple, life is simply life.
A world chock-full of desolate,
To pride of supposed joy I scurry.

A world plenteous of seclusion,
To hubris of felicity I secrete.

A world so stuffed of vain,
To narcissism of  hope I scamper.

Like a leach you latch on
You think your bite is strong

Your annoying, that much I'll admit
Like a dog with an itch, trying to scratch off a tick

It's not blood from the vain
That you want to drain

But emotions from the soul
You want to leave holes

You've lost all of your own, so other's you seek
You have grown so very sickeningly week

But I've grown up in the abyss
That part you must have missed

I'm not what you thought
I'm not what you sought

I'm much to strong
For you to cause me harm

I will stand and scoff
As I flip your *** off

You have no rights
For you are nothing but a parasite

You just sit there like a nonexistent entity
Having no special identity
All your thoughts are not your owen
Only planted seeds in your mind is sown
You are so **** vain
This will probably have to be explained
Because you will probably take this as flattery
But I must say you have a vanilla personality
sing my favorite song
as i engulf by your embrace
put my head on your chest
so i will be able to hear your beating
heart screaming my name

Yeah, you're yelling louder,
but you're not feeling more pain.
Look at my life,
In perfect curation.
Crawl through my photos,
For an endless duration;
My travels, my boyfriend,
My little black dress,
With each "like" you give me,
You'll like yourself less.
I'm pretty, I'm smart,
And outdoorsy to boot.
I proved I like hiking,
With a mountain top shoot.
I made it look easy,
My cheeks weren't flushed,
My re-application at the
Top wasn't rushed.
It's not about hiking,
But getting that shot,
To prove to the world,
That I'm trendy and hot.
My phone and it's filter,
Are all that I need,
Plus endless selfies,
And for you to believe.
One of one hundred,
Good angle and light.
Touched up and ready,
To upload tonight.
Of course it was worth it,
That trip to the top.
If I don't stay active,
My numbers will drop.
Please like me, share me,
keep me in rotation.
Please look at my life,
in perfect curation.
