Got a phone call early in the morning?
Well, you've got to answer it, my darling
Listen to the sweet voice that is singing
But never surrender to that calling

Got a message with a seductive pic?
Well, you've got to read and view, don't make me sick
Don't be afraid to watch and make a pick
Unless you know yourself that you are weak

Someone's knocking behind the door
Would you open or would you hear some more?
Would you welcome or would you ignore
An offering of good food from a neighbor?

There are lots of teasing which come your way
But never entertain them, that's what I pray
A tease is just a test if you can play
Just play but do not fail, hear what I say.
Do not fail...
Chest swelling,
mind blown
as two eyes stare at the percentage.
Jump up and down,
like a frog.
Squeal if you want,
enjoy the moment.
Happy that I got a perfect score on my French quiz and aced the science test.

I came to a bend in the road just the other day.
In a dusty forlorn desert at the edge of town.
A narrow one way street with no room for cars to meet.
And I must make the choice whether to skip town or stick around.
It only goes one way, this lonely barren path.
So I guess I must decide on the direction I will take.
The fear of losing what lies behind is all that holds me back.
But human nature fears change, and I am one to defy humanity.
To find satisfaction, I am afraid
there is to be one choice.
Because to live a caring reckless life.
The one way street knows best.
So goodbye my sweet safety net town
I must put my acrobat skills to the ultimate test.
It makes me think of Robert Frost

What a test,
to rest along the banks of solitude and
dangle fingers in hair spilled over the bedside
like attracting fish in the pond.
Tasting the waters
and twining a line,
the tickle, my hook.

Have you heard of the great Klapi?
Who's wings magnificent help him fly,
Who stalked the village and made that his feat,
With a loathing heart that contained his heat.

Every day he prowled the trees
And waited for the King's decrees
Then he'd take flight and soar overhead
And force the villagers to flee in dread.

Until one day, he felt quite off
And feared he was becoming soft.
His fear was confirmed when in the wild,
The beast, the monster, met a child.

"Come play with me" the child invited
And upon the dragon, the child alighted.
Somehow the beast felt happy, at last!
And took off flying very fast.

The child gripped to the dragon's mane.
The monster finally felt humane.
And every day they'd play 'til night,
And the Klapi was filled with sheer delight.

The beast gave up his violent ways
And lived for love throughout his days.
The child grew throughout the years
And never had any fears.

Then one day the child so tan,
Suddenly found he was a man!
And as all men were to do their best
To **** a beast, that was the quest.

The test of manhood, his calling hour.
The rise or fall of his life's tower.
Upon this task, his future rested.
His way of life would soon be tested.

The man approached his friend, the Klapi,
A look of grief deep in his eye.
The beast felt his friend's heavy heart
For he knew now, that they must part.

With many tears and moments shared
Between the two who deeply cared
More for the other than pleasing men,
Sharing the bond that goes far beyond our ken.

A man grew old and racked his mind
For a glimpse of the friend he could not find.
So he imagined a story, an adventure, a lie…
Of youth, of fun, and of the great Klapi.
She waits in silence
Cant help but stare

Wonders if he ever catches her
Its only a gaze that she wished they'd share

Eyes ferry us straight to the heart they'd say
But with glasses thick as his, there was really no way

His gestures harder to read than his eyes
Almost as if trying to block away everything from her sight.

She liked him for she thought of him as an enigma
Hoping she was gonna know him for the better part of what he was worth

She stole glances for  a long time
Till she saw the truth of it ,all right

Just a formality they were
it was just hi and bye and seemed to be that way forever

She grew sick of him after a while
Only with whim would he ever smile

She hates midway stuff to date
Says, its either in or out, nothing else is worth the wait

But every time she thinks what she'd want as a boon
She wants to only know why he makes her heart swoon

He is  her heart's fallacy at its best,
Or is he just a fallacy that she wants more than the rest?

wind slithers around me
I sway on the edge,
between misery and fate.
the city below
crawls with adversaries,
continuing unknowingly
of what they are about to witness.
the hair on my neck rises
my feet leave the boundary of misery.
im flying,
free of pain,
free of guilt.
no longer broken,
now just a guardian of my troubled thoughts.
