You’re like fire spreading wildly in my veins

Burning me to ashes

But oh darling

Don’t you know,

Phoenix rose from ashes
A capsule sized tale about how something beautiful arises when your knees touch the ground

Dripping down into the well
The rain may go and start to dry
A little girl goes by and sings
Her soul so bright and cool this night
But as she sings, the night is old

A boy comes near the window pane
He sees her grace, she minds her time
At once the motion then sat tamed
A colored light formed from the girl
Something not normal to this world

The boy sat struck by awe and lost
A thing rose up, it's smile curled
As tall as lights that line the streets
It stood in stealth as shadows creeped

The girl had not the mind to scream
Instead, she smiled with the being
Their eyes burned bright right at the boy
It sure did scare his little bones

He rushed away and closed the drapes
No way he'd go back to the pane
Now nights scare him and little girls
Who'd think a thing to seem so real

At school, he chose to sit alone
Till she came and sat by his heel
His fear held his voice down in jail
No one could know that he saw hell

She smiled sly and walked away
He clutched his heart, no words to say
Her shadow grinned before the shade
And then he saw her body fade

He couldn't get them out his head
No matter where he went to hide
From school till home he wept with dread
He felt fear climb way up his spine

He gave the girl a name he'd yell
A name only made for a fiend
He used to hear it down the well
The same name that she liked to sing

He said the name before he slept
Summoned her up into his room
Before he knew what he had done
His bed became a slumber tomb

His parents never knew of this
Until they wandered for his wake
They found her name written in scrapes
"VINETHIA", they said in pain

Their home had died along with them
No one knew where their bodies went
No one tells of this tale at all
For it may cause something to switch
Don't say her name

How low can we go down the rabbit hole?
I’ll take you to a place where the time never flows
The stars always glow, the sky is always blue
The grass is always green, and it’s all for you
But there’s a certain madness to this fantasy
So follow me as I measure every step carefully
You see this perfect planet is a theatre play
Either way, all we are is a bunch of NPCs

There’s a melody coming from the other side
As we stroll along the beach, by the ocean tide
And I show you smiles hidden in the crimson skies
Every perfect tale doesn’t show you the demise
But I made this world for you, you don’t have to deal with it
When you feel down, you can come and sink in it
Like a blanket on a winter evening, protect your heat
When the inside of your head gets too bleak
And when all you desire is a bit of sleep
So let your legs run, turn your head to stand by
And we’ll play the spectacle until you get by.

There was a girl
Who met a boy
Everyone before had
Treated her heart as a toy

You see, this girl was scared
He'd turn out same as the rest
Was reluctant to give him
Thing beating in her chest

Determined to prove her wrong
Every day gave her his time
Slowly the wall she put up
He fearlessly began to climb

Tried to push him away
Did not want him to get close
But when she parted from his touch
She craved just one more dose

He was falling for her as well
She stirred something locked inside
Re-awakening a hidden part
Of himself he was certain had died

Promised to be real with her
Told exactly how he felt
She heard him say "I love you"
Three words made her melt

It was clear she was worth risk
Though he too, had been hurt in the past
Somehow sensed this was different
From relationships that did not last

He threw pride and fear aside
Asked her to do the same
Took a little longer than he thought
Her resolve he was able to tame

She finally let him in
Let him see pieces that were broken
Found her wounds starting to heal
With every honest line spoken

He showed his darker side
Bravely bared all, it was tough
With each kiss and adoring look
Smoothed edges that were rough

Balanced eachothers scales
Two halves of one soul, complete
Both filled with ecstasy
From heads to floating feet

This is the place I leave our tale
Of love simple, pure, and true
If you have not guessed by now
She is me, he is you.
A bit different from my usual writing style

Blazing emotion in the lust of first sight.
Uncertain hearts, and unclear minds
tragically filled with stories
of failed loves.

Broken pieces, cracked trust,
and fake smiles, but also a growing desire.
A desire for something real
something that isn’t just a one time passion.

Something that is more than another
failed story.
Something that is real, tangible, and something
that lives on through time and time again.

So is this our new story?
Played in the major scale?
Or another minor detail
in my harrowing tale of love.
Hello! This is a poem I wrote involving a new love interest in my life. It's a fascinating situation that I would much like to keep. But my past relationships tend to end the same, and new ones rarely stick. So I find myself wondering if this person is a major part of my life blossoming an original story or just another minor detail in my current tale.

Sweet, dainty lips
And starry merry eyes
Her fingertips collide
With tingly butterflies

Fragile little thing
Oh, watch out for the wolves
Or what it might bring
And how it would move

Cold hearted lass
Heart like a glass
Forbade from the wolves
Obtained pure sass

Big, big wolf
Had gotten near
Near that little honey
With his wicked seer

Naive little girl
Beams upon bad
He melted and he swirled
Her heart, ice clad

Big,wicked wolf
Jinxed the frigid heart
Prentending, oh, prentending
The wolf was smart

Silly, silly *****
How silly you can be
Never marked words
You're always carefree

Evil, sadist wolf
Plucked the scarlet heart
Evil, sadist wolf
Plunged in a dart

Silly, silly *****
Sobbing little sights
Poor broken baby
And blood atop her thighs

Mad, sadist wolf
Threw the heart below
Mad, sadist wolf
******* and foe
Withing, a broken wolf
A ******* in show
Within his hairy heart
A tragedy he rows
I stayed awake the whole night with the night owl
Cuddling a big wolf in my ears its booming howl

All gone
When i was a very funny
But now im sad
when you were next to me
I felt just fine
When you were here
I was like in a fairy tale
But she is gone
Ooh no no no

She is Gone
She is gone
Ooh no no no
She is Gone
She is gone
Ooh no no no

All Gone
All gone
All Gone
All gone
Ooh no no no

I am no stranger to other worlds,
I travel them day after day.
Adventure and fanciful stories unfurl,
And always they are as I say.

My head harbors mountains and skies that aren’t blue,
And armies of fairies and elves,
And people and places too good to be true,
And things that I don’t dare to tell.

The world that I live in has beauty indeed,
But anger and sadness abound,
And stories of youth have planted the seed,
For my own precious world to be found.

I have often considered letting go of that place,
To get my head out of the clouds,
It is true I’m no child, and I’m not fair of face,
Just one silly girl in a crowd.

But the more I forget, the more I create,
And the more I become someone more,
And the world that I live in is seeing a change,
From the person I have been before.
