...to weekday wake-up calls
...to monotonic wardrobe
...to the smell of coffee
...to blank spaces
...to conversing chairs and empty benches
...to long walks
...to midnights
...to back porch poetry and sonnets
...to sunday morning bike rides
...to gloomy days
...to days without plans
...to days with random plans
...to stillness and invisibility
...to taking chances
...to gestures big and small
...to love languages and unintentional kindness
...to the right song at the right time
...to words spoken and unspoken
...and to all i forgot to thank
...thank you.
thank you

in this moment
laying here
with a little dog
i am okay
sometimes what no longer serves you will let you go instead of you letting go of it. let it leave.

Here one lies
Stomach aching
Throbbing
Unknown reasons
Trying to sleep,
She grabs the sheets
Pulls them over her head
And hides
From the world
And it's cruel, cruel truth

So I say
"Make me feel better"
To my mother
She kisses my head
Tries to ease me
Yet all she can do
Is give me a pill
And wait

So I say
"Make me feel better"
To myself
Only, I reply;
"Never,"
"For you shall never be."

Here I lay
Aching in my stomach
And other little common things
But still
No matter how much medicine I take
That's not all the pain I feel
And none of it goes away.

I am on to bigger
and better
people
and she will stay in
    her
      little
       world,
             forever.
and one day it will burn.
and I won't care

I do not think,
because from there I sink
into the depths of the poison I drink.
smaller and smaller I shrink
until one day I cannot unlink...

There is a story
In all of us.
The saddest part
Is when we let go,
And another
Writes the ending.
This is why
I hold on to you.
A short thought today...

... my world is made whole
with these tiny little things
I'm big with small love
A little bit of love goes a very long way

When I was small,
I lost a moon.
I didn’t know
It will come soon.
And people said
The moon has left
Because the sun
Made it to melt...
Memories about my past.

I feel the quilt for the seams
Fingerprints in the dream
And I see you beside me
Hand in mine
And I remember the little things

Memories falling as if leaves
As fall turns into spring
Please slow for just a moment
Hand in mine
As I reminisce passing little things
