They mumbled on me,
For something I never did.
You were my alibi there,
But you just disappeared.
Was my suavity the reason?
Or am i a knave to you?
I was in a daze,
And all I needed was a tender touch.
Don't know the reason for your wrath,
I can only blame these rotten days.
Sometimes the situation isn't that big and all we need is a tender touch.

I bite off rotten apples
just to have a taste,
of all the the waste
shoved down my throat.

You make love taste rotten, like something that has been sitting out on the sidewalk underneath the afternoon sun. People like you only know how to love yourself and take more than you give. People like you love storms, ravaging the homes others have constructed, leaving nothing behind. You turn something wonderful into something I wish I never had. To you, love must mean Winning, must mean always being right, must mean crushing the person that I am just so you can build your ego a little higher. To you, I must look like a fight, a competitor, a challenge to defeat. You use your words and threats to make me forget that I am a vital part of the relationship, your kisses fall like duct tape on my lips, you don't let me be anything but yours. Yours to love, hurt, twist, break, yours to keep, own, manipulate. I know it is wrong to love someone like you. But that is why things like this are hard- you fall in love with oceans before you realize how easy it is for them to drown you, you fall in love with people before you see how even seemingly best of them can abuse you.
You were my poison and I was your cure
You were rotten and I was pure
It was my flower
I didn't know I was the girl of the hour
How could you do this?
It all started with a kiss
The kiss of sweet unholy death
I was pure, until you took my breath
It was like being caught in a downward spiral
My feelings were never vital
I didn't know that either
He said "me neither"

you don’t realize how much it hurts you when he
touches you for a moment and then begs for more
you say “no I don’t want to” and he pushes
(more) (more)
---says you are annoying and dramatic--
but you love him (so)
you grasp for straws you
gasp when he smiles and yet
your love is rotting and it is
filling your bones. All of the no no
I don’t want to” turns into
come back why are you leaving and then
you are clawing for air on the ground
calling your mom trying to tell her
how much you hurt without telling her why
because it might split her open
And that is the last thing you want to do.

like spoiling bread
my control is beginning to crumble
I use to be so strong I could walk for days
But I blindly ran due to being afraid
and now all my legs do is stumble
I'm dying to cry out
release the toxins in my head
but my words never pass a mumble

Tear it all down
It is built on rot,
The sickly sweet cologne of wonderland decay,
And we are starving
But watch it wither ,
Feral smiles painted ****** across our cheeks,
Prodding at the scars with witches nails,
Hunters in the fray;
Spitting poison and daggers and shards of glass,
Leaving small disasters in our wake,
Too many to fathom
Still we are starving,
Tearing the world apart at the seams
From within,
Demanding:
You peel back the curtain
and you will witness the ruins
Filled with our skeletons picked clean,
But the flood water is rising,
And we have been so hungry...
Peel back the curtain.
We are done waiting.
the following quite quirky epistle may not exhibit the ordinary characteristics of poetry, but i decided to share this self made challenge (where every word begins with the letter "S" - no explanation can be offered why such self cerebral torture imposed, nor what motivated me to focus on the nineteenth letter of the english alphabet at the exclusion of other noble vowels and consonants.

The world we live in
plants seeds of
chaos.
What a rotten world.
