wouldn't you want to live every day with substance? or is the only substance you know the one you abuse?
questions, questions, nothing but questions.

I've sense your symphony
It was her you linger
I couldn't see what was missing
that you left me unwanted

I couldn't sense the certainty
Is it all a web of lie?
questions summed up
rolled up to one;
was it all true or is it just to let my heart fly?

my heart is aching
from the fall that wasn't caught
I do not know
If I should've fought for it or was right for letting go

After all the work of forming sprouts,
Calling out all forms of  leaves,
Beckoning grasses, inert, unseen,
HE turned browns to golds and greens.

After awakening from restful sleep
The slumbering, snoring bears,
The fidgeting squirrels,
The ball-coiled snakes;

After HE irresistibly wooed to life,
Fish, Fur, and Fowl,
Gave orders of procreation,
Set ardor in the *******
Of all living things,
To make them spawn and breed,
To make them stomp and howl,
Under the teeming blue of oceans,
Upon the verdant plains of grass,
Beneath the sun that holds us fast,
Fecundity blooming where HE passed,

After the world was teeming and alive,
HE left humans asking questions,
And a Serpent asking on the sly,
"Perhaps it's just another lesson?"

Suggested truth beyond the Truth might lie.
And she, Pandora's Mother, Mother of all men
Considered loss of innocence the price of "Why?"
And death a mystery to share with Man.

So Winter came upon the world,
So Death declared its right to win,
And Living Things upon the earth,
Discovered cold and death and sin.
So comes the Fall....

All your explanations are naive and out of place,
You're trying to persuade me in vain.
When I tell you we can't be together,
Why would you tell me they want to **** you?

Why no explanation for this behavior
Won't you read me some of your poems?
In response to the proposal to remain silent until you're blue
You'll tell me all of a sudden, so many unnecessary words.

For the crazy bunch of the usual promises
You will not explain to me the bottomless blue.
You will distort the meaning and spirit of naive predictions.
I'm right now too, my friend, and you're always right.

Today my bus was a little late
So 27, 71, and 42 arrived all at the same time;
Mine, my best friend's, and then "******'s" as we call him

My best friend wandered off and returned
Only to sit in the bay window two windows away,
And "******" greeted me for the first time ever,
He walked up to me, greeting me with a sincere smile
Something he's never done before

Another friend standing by told me something,
She told me he had his signature blank expression as he walked up to me
How she gave him a nod as in a "What's up" motion
To which he replied back, emotionless

But when I turned to him and my eyes met his
His face light up;
He smiled and seemed glad that I was there
"******" didn't worry about my best friend who he claims loves so deeply

Soon our trio was roaming the halls together
Though, not long after we set off he said that we need to talk later
In that serious tone he used with my best friend when they were off and on

What are you thinking?
What are you planning?
Why did you smile?
Does it mean anything?
I'm so confused and have too many questions.

April, hangover, vitamin deficiency.
Crows circulate in space.
Here is will May – then the other question,
Then you will want foliage and constancy.

Want in the lilac garden
Lie with your feet on the stand,
Cook on the fire yourself food
And sew itself to June tank top.

On June's swift night
Want to sleep already with the dawn,
Want to overcome fatigue
And give yourself a second summer.
