This is the story of Good-Time Tim
That I sit down to tell you today
No matter the weather
No matter the season
This man just wanted to play

And rain always calls for a raincoat
Boots and a hat for good measure
But Tim didn't need any protection from the storm
In the downpour in fact he took pleasure

His father put the pressure on
From a young age expected perfection
So when he grew up he got the hell out of dodge
Moved far away from parental correction

He was always in a drinking mood
Any time of day or night
If you caught him four drinks or more in
Whew! He was quite a sloppy sight!

This is the story of Good-Time Tim
That I sit down to tell you today
No matter the weather
No matter the season
This man just wanted to play

He drank hard alcohol and beer
Without discrimination
Either one would work just fine
For his goal of inebriation

He was a bit too rough on his body
Which is an overly gross understatement
He neglected his health and mental well-being
In reckless pursuit of entertainment

He wasted his life away getting wasted
Never pausing to consider that he might be missing out
Too self-destructive to attract a wife
So a family he chose to live without

This is the story of Good-Time Tim
That I sit down to tell you today
No matter the weather
No matter the season
This man just wanted to play

There was the time Tim broke his shoulder
Falling out of a tree
Because someone bet he couldn't reach the top
A task that proved to be an impossibility

Tim hardly ever brushed his teeth
So they all fell out by age 45
But considering his lifestyle
He was just lucky to still be alive

Surprisingly he was a religious man
Although not one page of the bible did he read
He had heard Jesus turned water to wine
That was all the preaching he'd ever need

This is the story of Good-Time Tim
That I sit down to tell you today
No matter the weather
No matter the season
This man just wanted to play

As he grew old he began to slow down
But not once did he ever regret
The countless mistakes he had made through the years
I guess the ***** made him forget

His liver held up for a very long time
But eventually started to rot
But for Tim it was too late to get sober
So he still swallowed shot after shot

When the doctor gave him his fatal diagnosis
He laughed and said "I'm ready to go
But make sure I'm buried with a bottle
In case they don't serve liquor way down there below!"

the carousel finds light
in the trite
the old and the good company
the worn horses where we got sick
and every spin since is vertigo

when we were here last it was as if
a newborn crawled from my cautious skin
and I was pure again, with you
cotton candy smile to rot the core of me

fate, a stout devil, missing teeth
killer queen grin
flips the switch and then
I am here alone
with the chewing gum pavement
and your last dollar for the skill crane

if only we could be beautiful,
and childlike again
wrapped up in all the things
mothers warn their little ones of

What is love all about?
Is it something we trust or doubt?
Does it make you fly and touch the cloud?
Or tied and stuck to the ground?
Or is it messy? So you decide to play around..
What if we trust love and say it out loud?
But no one heard that sound.
Do we leave and forget about the love we found?
Or indulge in love and be more profound?
Is love a choice or to it we get bound?

What you desire
is what you seek,
you'll play with fire
to reach the peak.

to love is to hurt
once seen with youthful eyes
sculpted by the gods
a divine surprise
24k gold
words to withhold
take me to the sun
that is where we stay
stay to play
stay to fray
where it all begun

Cross some t's, dot some i's
It's like everyone left without saying their goodbyes
But look at my eyes
Clear as the blue sky
I have no more tears left to cry
Why? Why? Why?
-
Wait, the world just paused for a minute
I tried to smile but everything still feels gloom
Its like I'm trapped in this one room
In this body I am entombed
Resume, everything is fine they assume
-
I had nothing poetic to say
So I came up with this word play
The voices decided to come out and play
A good night sleep they want to delay
Memories of you they want to replay
I'm stuck between fed up and okay
But still praying everything turns out for the better one day

Wrap me in your warmth, it's cold out here
Keep me locked in your embrace
By the bonfire, allow my body to caress yours
From the curves of your lips, the flavor of love, let me taste

Let our bodies be entangled, our souls interlocked
Under the starry sky, let's engage in a passionate play
Delicately I will touch, the most sacred corners of your body
Allow me to remind you how it feels to be loved, let me take you away

Monkey me, monkey you.
What's a monkey supposed to do?

Look and listen to Fathers love,
listen to the calls above.
Put the devil under ground,
pray against those hot hell hounds.
Act in faith when the call I hear,
always love and never fear.

Devil down,
bless the rest,
put those monkeys to the test.

Monkey me, monkey through,
past a wall unto the true.

Love and bless and passed a test,
hope in Jesus for me is rest.
Faith is right with grace in sight,
in my Fathers mighty might.
Hope for me, and hope for you,
hope the monkeys all be true.

Hope for me and hope for you.
Go monkey!
Just reflecting on the daily struggle of life, when things come to you pass or failing tests of life, you can lean on the grace of Jesus and seek the Father always. Hope people are doing well. God bless.
