we make up demons
so that we have someone to blame
when we look in the mirror
and realize that we've ****** up.
original sin is
a ******* way
of scapegoating adam and eve
so we don't have to face our own consciences at night.
the blame game

Curiosity killed the cat but I want to know why
A thirst for knowledge that I can't deny
A lifetime of questions in search of the truth
Words are just letters, in the action lies the proof

Harsh truth I can handle, pretty lies I cannot
Moralistic minds, traits that time forgot
Say what you feel and act how you think
Keep it real and the connection stays in sync

my world knows merely black and white

would you hold my hand if I asked you to
with nothing for you to earn
would you do me a favour
knowing you would receive nothing in return

my world knows not right and wrong
for that is dictated by society
putting words in our mouths as if they are stuffing a pig, so obscene
we sit lifeless, watching, we don't intervene

tell me is that right
would you watch as the world is set alight
our world
your world
my world

soon we can know only pain
there will be no right and wrong
no words will be spoken
there will be nothing to be gained

You don't have morals
'cause you seek validation
Is that important?
I hate people who chose validation over morals.
NOTHING is more important than your morals, especially not having the validation of others.
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Oh! I am in a state
a state of confusion
Where i don’t know which way to go
a state of dilemma

Oh! I am in a state
a state where i don’t know what is right from wrong
Where i see two road;a narrow with few and a wide with many
a state of dilemma

Oh! I am in a state
a state where i start to question my loyalty
Where it’s either to stay put or move on
a state of dilemma

Oh! I am in a state
a state where i get complains from both sides; both good and bad
where i get tempted by the vanits of life
a state of dilemma

Oh! I am in a state
a state where the joy of eternity seems too far ahead
Where i get addicted to the phrase “LIVE FOR NOW”
a state of dilemma

Oh! I am in a state
a state i can only be saved from by HIM
Where only THE POTTER can help
a state of assurance

For, I am now in another stage of the state
a stage of addiction to the narrow
Where i can envisage now that my future now and later is shining bright

A state of SMARTNESS

Some men make me worry
Degrading treatment towards women seems to be ok
On their behalf I would like to say sorry
This kind of bahaviour needs to stop today

As a guy it sickens me
The sheer amount of disrespect
Rating women, calling them a lousy three
Something in your head must be defect

The other day I heard a colleague say
Don't worry about their names
I'm saving them by the codes
Each letter leading me on different roads

"S" means hot, "X" is for a one time use
I was aghast, no I was shocked
In my opinion this is resembling abuse
After that further chat had to be blocked

A dark day for a believer of human dignity
No human should be reduced to an object
Fellow men, stand up when facing this immorality
This is a wrong we need to correct
I wrote this poem about half a year ago after being confronted with the above mentioned situation. I was debating whether I should publish this poem at all, as there are a lot of poems popping up especially in regard to the "me too" and "time is up" movement and I did no want to "jump on the train" so the say. However, I think it is important to stick up when facing wrongs like these no matter if this relates to women or men alike.

Cheers to the believers of human dignity!

9mm that’s the size of a bullet fired by police,
It could be in self-defence,
It wouldn’t matter.

Cameras and press are pressed for time and need to get a front-page article out,
“Chicago policeman shoots man” is what they go with
Never mind that man killed three girls aged 10 – 12 but not before they were violently abducted.
Police to avoid this happening to another child raided the house with the wallpaper faded.
He shot at them first and when the policeman fired back he signed his resignation because no-one wanted to hear his apology in front of the whole nation.

NRA and the 2nd amendment are giving everyone an easy excuse,
It’s written into the constitution therefore it must be okay,
But let me tell you something real quick:
Slavery was legal
Segregation was legal
Does that make it okay?
And here is where we sit right now on that fine line of it being moral and it being legal

Our conciseness is a teardrop
       in the reflection of our
                                    morality.

For every ripple,
                  has a repercussion,
                  of cognitive contemplation.

Tears may fall, but our morality
                         is a ripple always
                         collecting on shores
                         of retrospective conciseness.

It is as if the world
is in a state of Hypnosis
allowing ourselves to succumb
to the 'Moral' Absolutists
letting them carve us
into statues of Uniformity
Masterpieces created
to be subjects of society
that instead binds us tight
with chains, numerous in form
watered down to be symbolized
as proper; Values and Norms
That can never allow us to identify
as who we truly are
Poetic T May 2018
The morality of our present
      will have implications
       on the repercussions
of what it means to be moral.

For the principles we bestow
       on others of future words,
       of actions. Will acknowledge
the motivations of future references.

Our ethics aren't beckoned by
       beliefs or regional confides.
       They are moulded on the
evolution of our evolving humanity.
