Be Mindful of where your mind goes
you already know how to find home
it is not inside your dome
it is your soul

be mindful of where you mind goes
whether or not you know
you will always find home

painful or passionate
love all or master hate
you decide what path you take

when you realize it was never a mistake
you were always in the right place

that's how you find home

I cannot feel ashamed or disrupted
I cannot feel lost or disturbed
by you leaving me...

Only because,

I was thinking of someone else.

Dear leaders,
teachers,
parents,
adults,
friends;

society..

Please, please, please,

Think,
Before you speak.
Because your words will echo.
And they will scar someone
in a way,
Or more *.
I thought this poem out in the shower. Weird, eh?

But in all seriousness; society really needs to be mindful of their words. It really saddens me that most of sample essays my teacher gave us contain things like "students who came from broken families are rebellious" .

That stereotype's a *******, if you asked me.

Could you not feel pain barring on ones soul, could you indecisively open a grain of sanity with the courage to Lead life to freedom through a journey that could nourish the senses of reality given to a marvelous occupation.. this is what that is... that in which would deliver the relentless tyrant in ones self a mad man among eyes,
i am among whom who.... could not bare to see you stop.

My mind is elsewhere most of the time.
         Please,
look into my eyes and tell me what you see.
                                      Is it me?
Am I what you thought I'd be?

Try to understand why I seem so distant
Show some interest in yourself

Play me a song that makes you smile,
that'll be what my heart clings to
when you are no longer near me.

And she sat alone
In some filthy bar,
surrounded with smoke covered dreams,
Sweaty men
And bottomless drinks.
Aching for what she had lost,
All the time
wondering
if she was pretty enough
or smart enough-
And while she sat
she realized
That no one ever was,
and no one ever could be.

Consciousness aside,
In my thoughts the ghosts reside-
Never enough time.

Light and dark,

the cars stop to park,

while the driver becomes a dream.

Day and night,

he puts up a fight,

to stay at bay with his dreams.

Days and weeks,

they all seem so bleak,

while the driver becomes his dream.

The thoughts run faster than the speed of light
Scientists will never be able to prove this because all you can see through scans are small electric reactions in the brain signaling to each other codes and orders and maybe even jokes we don't get
We don't even know ourselves how we think these thoughts
We don't even know how to stop our thoughts when they get a little too wild
A big question with probably multiple answers
None of which I believe can ever be found scientifically
No, it must lie deeper
Like an ocean of thinking and we are bound to drown in it
but we won't suffocate, just slowly ignite with the magic happening around us
Oh, what beauty if only we knew if to be scared or feel safe
Yeah, you can look into my brain
But you will never see my mind

There are beings
who say and do.
They live in the future,
always making plans.

There are beings
who say, but don't do.
They live in the past,
dwelling on intentions.

There are beings
who don't say, but do.
They live in the now,
and are fully present.
